I thought the N97 had a pretty damned good design.
The rendering of the N98 looks pretty good too, even though it's probably fake. Nokia just doesn't know how to make good looking touch screen phones...The i8910 blows the N8 and every other keyboard less touch phone nokia has ever made out of the water.

Try to understand the way it works before complaining everywhere. The carriers take a cut when operator billing. Those are people that you wouldnt have sold to otherwise. So shut up. If you want to keep 100%, sell it from your own site. You are allowed to.

The carrier part comes out of Nokia's portion anyway...
with the rapid pace of KIRFers, engadget has lost its record of KIRFs because i don't see the part number with these posts anymore :) (last part # was CCLIX, i guess so)
i don't understand,
nokia makes new symbian in a year, they make it in 10 days. Both are crap. (but i still love you nokia)

in the future, these Chinese devices will probably be running a legal version of Symbian, MeeGo, or Android, so its wise to watch these boutique Asian knockoff builders. They have a massive market that is larger than Apple's share of the converged market.

They copy designs, which isn't hard to do. Physical looks can be copied by any decent manufacturer. Look at LG and how they rose to prominence.

I like how the chinese on the picture actually reads something like "1:1 exact copy exterior" and their name on the card reads "highly accurate fakes". These guys are actually bragging about how good they are at KIRFs.
Do my eyed deceive me or does that phone say Nokia and not NOKLA?
