This is not the 2.1 update. Sorry to disappoint but it is only a small update since HTC has made some changes... I work for best buy mobile and it says in the instructions what this is and it is not 2.1. Sorry everyone john should of known better...
@dgskydive its just to fix some random bugs in the phone... there was no mention about what specifically, but it is not 2.1. All they said was that HTC has made some changes and they are rolling out the update this week.
Fyi when 2.1 was coming for the Droid they specifically said it was 2.1 that was coming so they would do the same if this was the case for the hero
@taypotts Thank you for your information. We know now that May 7th is not happening. At least for 2.1
Plus the admins on Sprint denied it already. I hope what ever they do fixes the some of the known issues with the phone. I don't understand though, why that memo says the files are so big though. Those are the file sizes that I had heard the 2.1 updates would be. Again though, that was another rumor.
I wonder why the files sizes are so big though. I wonder why they have to wipe the phone just for some bugs. Not doubting your claims, just wondering out loud
The N9 has arrived. What we can say from our first experience is that we're in the presence of a fantastically designed device with a gorgeous AMOLED screen and some highly responsive performance.
