Anyone who bought the Hero is out of luck: The Hero isn't 2 years old, so none of us are eligible for discount pricing. So we're in for a penny, in for a pound.
Enjoy your Evo, though. I happen to LIKE the look and feel and weight and UI and layout of my Hero. It's a good feeling device.
@Kitten I love my Hero. I must admit I don't run 1.5, but I did for quite a while. Luckily for me my wife doesnt care about phones so I can steal her upgrades :)
@Kitten if you have sprint premiere its only 1 year :) I was getting the EVO regardless of the status of this phone. I am rooted with 2.1 and its quite snappy. not as snappy as snapdragon though. its got real dragons in it!
