Samsung U200 all-in-one desktop hands-on
Here's another exhibit that we could (literally) touch at the British Museum today -- Samsung's new all-in-one touchscreen PC, the U200. We won't go into another pixel density rant about the 20-inch, but the colors and optical touch sensitivity were good. As for the keyboard, it seemed to have similar issues we dealt with on the P580 laptop, but at least you can just throw it out and get a better one with the U200. Anyhow, help yourself to the rest of our hands-on photos.

Why do desktops look weird now
@account5 needs more angles.
@account5
dont call that thing a desktop, its not. Its an all in one.
@fel But it's on top of a desk...
@account5 That thing is like 3 iMacs thick!
Wow, new iMa.... waiiiiiiiiiit a second
@Wesscoast
yeah. i wonder why apple is last to the game. why wouldnt they make a 22 inch ipod touch?
@dark star
You do know Apple has been at this party since...pretty much ever right?
this looks like something I would use in my living room
Why do they give it a nice size screen but a crappy screen Rez?
21.5" iMac has a 1920x1080 IPS display and the 27" has an even higher one!
Also too, not a big fan of the touch screen desktops, seems kinda awkward to hold you hand up to tap something on a upright display from my experience messing with the HP one, but if the tech can work well would still be cool to have a touch screen computer for basic stuff
Come on... where are they Apple fan boys to tell us it looks like an Ipod/pad?

you don't to have to be a fanboy to see the obvious dude :)
All-in-one desktops - worst idea ever.
I will probably get down ranked for being such a negative nancy.
@SeveringGecko: Exactly. IPS is da shiznizz...Why the MacBook Pro's couldn't be upgraded with IPS displays if beyond me, if even the iPad has LED-backlit IPS on a 9.7" screen. Grrrr.............
With the white lining it reminds me of the Kin One phone.
I really don't have a problem having a mini tower under my desk,
It's a peculiar samsung design I think.
Looks a little awkward but not bad tho.
Whoa wait, 'PENTIUM'?? Why would they use 'pentium' processor in 2010 unless they are making a net-top? Is this supposed to be a net-top?
Do a lot of people still use 19" and 20" monitors as their primary on their desktop?
I don't think I could go back.
If my 24" dies, the only place I am going is bigger still I think.
@savagemike lucky boy - I still remember the 15 inch LCD vs CRT pricing battle from 2004. and now, 19 inch LCDs come like they're free.
@blland
do take in to account that a 4:3 screen has a larger screen area than a 16:9 with the same diameter
its actually more straight forward than imac - just screen. great design!
they simply have to peel off those silly stickers.
Great kitchen PC. Though I'd still rather the ASUS branded one.
you know, even if you don't go on a rant about it, you could still mention the resolution...
Hey, did you folks notice in your hands-on whether the unit had a VESA-capable mounting plate? I've been looking for a 17-20" allinone multitouch unit that I can mount to a VESA plate (to a swingdown arm mounted underneath the kitchen cabinet), but have been having a surprisingly challenging time finding anything in this size range that supports mounting!?!
