Not sure where the article got some of its info. I'm getting my XPS 9000 today with a 5870. I would have preferred the 8100 for the Lynnfield processor but it isnt even available with the 5870, let alone the 5970. The only machine i could find on Dell's site with the 5970 offered is alienware. Even this 7100 gets the option of the 5870 but the 8100 does not.
