A quick 3-minute charge gives enough power for 90 minutes listening time. A fully charged battery offers up to 11 hours2 uninterrupted listening time. Supplied Content Transfer software allows simple drag-and-drop transfer of music files and playlists from Windows Media Player or iTunes™ libraries (not including DRM files).
Published by KONAMI and scheduled for release on PSP® and PSP®go June 2010, METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER is the latest instalment in the legendary Metal Gear game series.
Developed by KONAMI's Kojima Productions, METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER is the first title in the series designed by original creator Hideo Kojima for a portable gaming platform.
The Special Edition WALKMAN® W250 METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER MP3 player is also available from June 2010 in limited markets.

snake??? SNAAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKE!!!!
(snake is fine. just can't hear him due to his shiny new walkman)
@skyblaze
Haha LOLz
Next Update is this with a camera pointing behind your head and MGS eyepatch with mini LCD so that no-one can snake/sneak up on you the way you do!
Awwww. They made a heart out of it.
/runs to vomit
Cool, but my experience with Sony headphone RE build quality has been horrendous. At least in the past Sony was fond of very soft materials for in-ear headphones, I imagine in order to offer a more pleasing tactile experience, but the headphones tended to fall apart. Granted these are not just headphones, but past experience makes me weary.
MGS theme +1
Past Xp -5
@tikigawd
Are you quite sure you don't suffer from acidic earwax?
@tikigawd
Are you sure you've bought the Japanese made brand and not some knock-offs?
I've been using Sony earphones since 1980s, never had a major problem with them.
Sony/Konami is going all out with MGS:Peace Walker
damn I wish they should have made this a PS3 game instead of a PSP one..
:(
that's some girly camo.
@One Love
Where?
!
I have to say being a huge MGS fan I think these are great only problem if they could stream over bluetooth from my desire Id pre order them right now :( but guess its back to the MW600
I have about four 16GB (pinky nail sized) microSD cards sitting around my office. Why is 2GB the max they can seem to fit in this device?
Should have gone with Digital Camo
2gb = Sony being cheap as always.
I actually have the non special edition ones - had them for a few weeks now. They work great, and really I don't see a need for larger storage, since these are only for working out.
I was hesitant, thinking these wouldn't stay in my ears, but they do, even after several miles of fast pace running.
That being said, why on earth would anyone want cammo headphones?
@o TINY o Haven't tried them for swimming have you? Was hoping these might be the solution to boring swims, but the words 'water resistant' don't fill me with confidence...
@kaliber
They work well at shallow depths. Don't go bringing them into salt-water though.
@kaliber
They are not meant to be submerged under water.
The reason why they are making a big deal over the water resistant feature is because their last gen model was not water resistant, and therefore sweat would damage the headset over time. Whoops!
While the band and mp3 player it self are water resistant, water can enter in through the ear bud, and it cautions against this. Now I guess if you have a water tight seal between your ear and the ear plug, you would be fine, but these are not designed to fit snug in your ear. The bass balance is actually set so that these sit a little outside of your ear canal. It's hard to describe, but really nice for working out.
...this doesn't belong on engadget. This is not new tech or even tech: it's a makeover. Another article coming dangerously close to an ad.
Has anyone seen the price on these things? More than $100 for 2GB?
