i've had 2 w760a's sold one both work awesome sony STR-DG1200 receiver (works Great) sony ps3 (phat limitied Ed. 80, no problems) Sony camera that's several years old still works great
i think sony still makes great products. However my next phone will hopefully be a HTC Android. And my tv is Samsung. Sony charges WAY too much for their tv's..
It's not just you- before Sony even had a games division I was a Sony devotee (the word fanboy was not in common usage in the '80s) and I noticed a marked change in the quality of their consumer electronics when they moved their manufacturing bases out of Japan and into the rest of asia. It was then when I switched the Sony ES line, and even then I had a couple of unreliable (and expensive!) lemons sneak through, costly choices that really tainted my opinion of Sony quality. I am sad to say that even though I've bought every iteration of the PlayStation, for the most part I stay away from their consumer electronics. Seems like I'm not alone.
The new FiOS HD DVR, arguably the biggest update since Verizon released a DVR, thanks to its external storage support, enhanced multi-room functionality and slick new 16x9 HD user interface.

Might be just me but I've been staying away from Sony products past few years.

Sony Bravia KDL46W5500
Sony RHT G900
Sony MHC GN1100D
Sony Playstation 3 80GB
Sony Vaio Laptop
Completely happy with those choices!

I have purchased one Sony (ish) product in the past few years, my Sony Ericsson K610im. That was a terrible error, constantly breaking, junk etc.
Maybe it was Ericsson's fault?
