Leaked Windows Phone 7 ROM filename suggests an HTC Mondrian?

The lads and lassies at XDA-Developers made an intriguing discovery this week: a leaked 100MB file that might be the first Windows Phone 7 ROM actually destined for a device. What's more, it could possibly reveal details about a phone we barely knew existed -- the filename references an "HTC Mondrian." At best, the contents might reveal wonders beyond imagination, including full specs, bundled apps, even the tools needed to properly shoehorn WP7 onto your existing HTC handset. At worst, the community might never open the blasted file, or discover it's all a clever hoax. There's really no indication either way, so we prefer to dream. I am hoping Windows comes through but somehow i feel I wont be impressed when its released later this year.... Hope I am wrong so that Android isn't the only thing I am interested in... (palm needs better form factors) and apple... I wont get into all that... just not into the communism.

Granted we know nothing about this phone outside of how awesome HTC phones usually are. It will be cool to see how this stacks up to the Dell Lightning.

I think the best part of the Mondrian is that it marks the first time anyone is releasing a phone that DIRECTLY competes with the iPhone on ATT's network... i dont count Blackberry considering the iPhone was never a threat or competitor of RIM (clearly)
It will be interesting to see how well the iPhone does when people at ATT finally have something else to chose from and obviously this thing will blow the EVO and next iPhail out of the water (HTC doesnt take steps back these days)

Mondrian makes perfect sense for a Windows 7 phone with the tiles, and all, but god damn I hate his art.
