@icase81 "You have 5 companies trying to best one another for market share, working on separate timelines, competing to one up each other."
This very competition that you call a negative is what drives companies to deliver amazing new phones with bleeding edge technology as soon as possible. The "iPhone 4G" will have outdated hardware within a month of its release, so those wanting to buy one will be stuck buying a phone that is outdated, much like 3GS customers now. Those wishing to buy an Android phone will have at least one state of the art device to choose from, no matter what time of year their upgrade rolls around. When my new-every-2 came up on Verizon I bought the most advanced Android phone out at the time, the Droid. Am I a little jealous that there are faster Android phones that came out soon after I bought it? Of course! But my phone still runs every app just as well as when I bought it, so I guess it doesn't actually affect me at all! The new Android phones coming out and gaining market share will lead to more developers jumping to Android and adding to the already thriving market. The EVO 4G and whatever super-phone inevitably follows it a couple months later will only serve to up the Android game. Just because Steve Jobs tells you that competition and cutting edge hardware being released every 2 months is a bad thing DOES NOT make it true!
The Cobra Tag may help you win that losing battle, acting as a Bluetooth device that attaches to your key ring and connects to your phone, it gives you the opportunity to find the missing item if it's less than 30 feet away.
