The Engadget Show returns, this Saturday, May 22nd with Sprint's Evo 4G, Adobe CTO Kevin Lynch, and an Engadget editors Q&A!

You like giveaways? Well then, this is your lucky week (if you attend). Many of you will be walking away with shiny new Voyager Pro headsets, courtesy of Plantronics and we've got tons of Engadget t-shirts to hand out!
Oh, and did we mention we're also giving away a brand new iPad (courtesy of The Little App Factory and bundled with all of their software titles)? Well we are, alongside a handful of other goodies.
The Engadget Show is sponsored by Sprint, and will take place at the Times Center, part of The New York Times Building in the heart of New York City at 41st St. between 7th and 8th Avenues (see map after the break). Tickets are -- as always -- free to anyone who would like to attend, but seating is limited, and tickets will be first come, first served... so get there early! Here's all the info you need:
- There is no admission fee -- tickets are completely free
- The event is all ages
- Ticketing will begin at the Times Center at 2:30PM on Saturday, doors will open for seating at 4:30PM, and the show begins at 5PM
- You cannot collect tickets for friends or family -- anyone who would like to come must be present to get a ticket
- Seating capacity in the Times Center is about 340, and once we're full, we're full
- The venue is located at 41st St. between 7th and 8th Avenues in New York City (map after the break)
- The show length is around an hour
- If you have a question for the editor Q&A, email your question to showquestions [at] engadget [dot] com, or hand the question in to us at the venue by 3:30PM. You must hand in the query on an index card or piece of paper when you pick up your tickets.

Wow, after the discussion with Adobe CTO, Apple's definitely gonna stop paying Joshua
@Girish
are you kidding? they're only having him on for a public execution
jk
@Girish lmao no more fallon appearances... anyway im definitely going to be there though. Should be in da BX this weekend.
@Vaio Someone seems to be angry at not being the first one
@Girish : Is Josh gonna be on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon with the EVO 4G?
@One Love Yea I hope so, I wonder if he would hold up the Evo everytime the camera saw him, like he did with the iPad
Kevin Lynch's eloquent comments about Flash on Android device are just going to motivate me further on jumping ship to Android
They are going to put the EVO "through its paces" and probably showcase everything bad they can find in order to setup their next "crapgadget" show for the new iphone.
@animal Why bring such harsh vibes broheim?
@Chad Mumm so I won't be disappointed later ;-)
yay! We are going to talk about the EVO 4G! A gift from the Ancient Aliens :D (I've been watching History channel too much lol >.< )
With all of this Adobe/Apple chatter recently, how about you ask Mr. Lynch a few questions about their somewhat draconian DRM method they employ in their paid-for software?
I'm going to rant off topic here...True story, but my desktop recently had a fairly serious crash and had to start from scratch last week (thankfully had my files backed-up). Anyways after re-installing my paid copy of photoshop extended CS4 (legitimate, never installed on another computer, only used by me) and doing some photo editing, I get a message that my copy is invalid and still can't get anyone from adobe to help me out.
@Rick James
And that is when you turn to piracy...there is always a tipping point...
@kapanak
That's all well and good minus the fact that I am probably in the minority of users that paid for the software. Its the principle of the fact that for paying a crap load for the software that I shouldn't be inconvenienced by this--I should not be treated by Adobe's tech support as a thief. DRM measures only end up hurting the people who attempt to do things the honest way.
@Rick James
then pirate it... I know, I know pirating is wrong, but if you've bought it already, then it's not wrong.
What would be the best (cheap) option for an android device?
Are you guys gonna ask why Adobe won't quit bitching and MOVE ON instead of crying about how Apple is controlling its own damn platform (and no one else has to buy an Apple product if they don't want to)?
@TheLondonExchange
I would rather they ask on behalf of graphic designers everywhere to stop supporting the Apple platform altogether so I don't have to live with the bag of hurt at work.
@sweet greggo
Wouldn't that be something...
Could you guys show the giveaways? Like you did with the Eyefinity set? That would be fun...or at least make it available as a separate video later...I always like seeing what's being given away and who gets it. :)
@Stereotype Tends to get a bit boring when you're on to the 48th t-shirt... JK, we'll see what we can do.
@Chad Mumm
That's true...I didn't realize that you gave that many away... :P
If you can't, no biggie. Just thought I'd mention it...
Sounds good, see you there suckaz.
Please some one ask if they are going to make a model like Evo4G in europe ? Pleaseeeee
Come to Chicago Josh.
Let me guess Josh, you like the Evo but it would be sooooooooo much better on AT&Ts GSM network, right?
@sweet greggo
And lemme guess you would LOVE the iPhone but only if it were on verizons supposedly awesome everywhere network?
Bullshit.
I've had the iPhone 3GS for a while now and I've never had complaints about their service....
@TheLondonExchange
Put the iPhone where ever you want, I'm still not going to use it. I prefer the superior WebOS. It's even better on Sprint where I get full discounts for new phones after only 1 year. Bite it, fanboi.
@TheLondonExchange
Whoa, slow down before you pop a vessel. No one is trying to take your precious.
@TheLondonExchange
Everything they do deserves criticism...There is a point for any corporations in terms of control and revenue, which once is crossed, they are subject to criticism and judgement on just about everything they do...Microsoft is one, Apple is one, so is Google...but more than all of those, it's still Apple... :D
How early should we get there if we want tickets?
@fanboy Most of the time they don't run out of tickets, you can show up close to an hour after they open up ticket distribution and still get a ticket. Just walk up to the door and ask.
When are you guys going to get Steve Jobs on the Engadget Show? Can't be that hard when bloggers over at Gizmodo are having email conversations with him at 2:00 AM in the morning.
No text for tickets giveaway?
@Kyusaku It's coming... look for another post with the text-to-win in a day or so!
@Chad Mumm Thanks! Will keep an eye out for it!
Since you will have an EVO 4G, will Sprint pop up a tower for you to experience the 4G?
ive never been to a show yet...how do you get a ticket?.is there a ticket stand or something?
Please ask why their family plan costs so much more than the other carriers when all you want is one EVO and one basic voice phone on a shared minutes plan. Their "rock bottom" price for this is $40 more than the next most expensive carrier (Verizon). I've done my homework and unfortunately, I'm not confused. Please, somebody correct me! I'd love to get my eyes on that 4.3" screen.
exciting show en gadget! Man I wish I live in New York
I'll have to get myself to one of the show some day...
Thanks engadget! This is my most amazing birthday present!! Xx
@k3ckham Happy birthday!
@Chad Mumm Thanks:) more exiting for me is the ipad I'm getting @ uk launch 28th may :p was hoping for a 22 launch haha then I could watch the show on my ipad!
@k3ckham What?!! This is my birthday too! The one day someone else says it's their birthday on here it's my birthday. Craziness.
@JesusFreak Haha it's madness we should get a mention on the show!
@k3ckham How exactly do you pronounce "k3ckam?"
Chances of an EVO being given away: High.
Only Logical Conclusion: Must be in Times Square on the 22nd! =D
A guy from Adobe's gonna be there? Awkkkwwaaaard.
Maybe he'll show off the new... um... Adobe Reader?
1 - Please find out if the EVO will let you voice dial from BT without touching the phone at all.
2. Does the EVO do a good job of syncing with MS Exchange including calendar, contacts and email? Will it let you do activesync with more than one MS Exchange account.
