@andyroo77 well even though it looks sweet, and probably is. remember iPad is on the shelves :)... not sure anyone gonna regret, unless u have smth like this available in a couple of months.
Not at all. I like the iPad. You can do a ton of stuff with it, and it's real, not just specs and a mockup prototype.
A better tablet will be released eventually, that's the nature of technology. You can't just sit back and keep waiting for something better to come out, or else you'll end up never buying anything.
@andyroo77 Why should I? It works beautifully and it has some properties this Tegra thing doesn't have. Like iPhone OS and the app store (yes, I actually like the App Store, go figure). If there's one thing the iPad doesn't do it would be to make me scream out loud that "I need a dual core CPU", "I need an SD slot", "I need Android", or "I need Flash". In fact, I don't care for any of these, otherwise I wouldn't have bought an iPad in the first place.
The specs on this thing look nice, but they're not so spectacular they would be a big selling point over the iPad. Remember that Android is a lot heavier on the hardware than iPhone OS, because all apps run in a JVM. Let's see how this thing turns out when it hits the shelves eventually and people can actually test the software, and how well you can install and run apps on it. Because that's what it's all about, not about hardware specs.
Following the commercial success (and technical disappointment) of the original Wildfire -- which featured a miserly 528MHz CPU and QVGA display -- HTC has returned with the Wildfire S.
