@jeff181995 Stop pointing out the obvious compromises and real world engineering constraints. It's best to think these are solved with a magic wand (although hopefully not the same Magic wand they were using for the Courier and the HP Slate).
@jeff181995 I still don't get the whole slate concept. Whether it's made by Apple or another company, I can't envision using one in my day-to-day activities. While at home, I use a full-size laptop or a desktop. While I'm out, I use a smartphone. If I needed a larger computing experience while out, I'd have a netbook since it's much easier to hold and carry (plus it comes with a keyboard).
Not to mention that even a top-end Ion netbook or cheap CULV laptop costs less money than the cheapest iPad.
@r3loaded You really have to try one to "get it". I couldn't imagine it either, but now I use my laptop/desktop about 5-10% of the time. Most of the Internet browsing and such that I do online is very natural and enjoyable on the iPad.
see, that's where we differ. I use a desktop at home, and an ipad when out to get to my desktop, servers at work, users desktops at work. Depends on what you want it for. Tried this all with my iphone, which works in an emergency but the screen is too small. It was a PITA to just reset a password.
Following the commercial success (and technical disappointment) of the original Wildfire -- which featured a miserly 528MHz CPU and QVGA display -- HTC has returned with the Wildfire S.

@r3loaded It will come in handy for villain types in secret labs under the ocean in coming 007 movies. Yes...
