iPad app store goes live internationally

Update: Australia confirmed too -- it's not just Europe. Things seem a bit unstable as Apple lights up the service a week ahead of the official international iPad launch.

App Store is live in Hong Kong as well! :)
iPad Apps have been available in Australia since the iPad was released in the States... all you have to do is do a search for "iPad" and you get over 30 pages of Apps. I haven't found a separate designation for iPad in the App store like it is in the States.
When it first kicked in, there were only 27 total apps that had the iPad designation.
What is interesting for me is that the iBook store is active but no books available yet.
Cheers from Oz
how about UAE, dubai? anybody?
Works in UAE
Just say NO people! Remember, the Apple logo IS the mark of the beast! Just say NO to ego driven, porn censoring, no Flash running, pieces of junk! Remember that Steve Jobs himself said he "couldnt build a $500 computer that isnt a piece of junk"! Say no to HTML5 and h.264! Beware the licencing fees! REPENT!
Does anyone knows when the iWork apps will be available internationnaly ?
No sign of iPad apps in Canada.
@telefella got to look on your iPad it is there but still no iBooks. Bummer.
The iPad App Store is live in India too!
@kjmathew Confirmed it's the real deal. Bought The Elements $14 and Need for Speed Shift for iPad $10.
Location: The Netherlands
Date: launch day -8
There was a stir in my neighbour's garden this afternoon: he had just bought 10 iPads and returned home with one of them. Soon all the neighbours had clustered around admiring the new toy. Not the place that I expected my first hands-on iPad experience.
Dear Apple,
Release the Cracken! Also, blow me. I hate you.
humm, still no iBooks though this sucks dead goat's ass.
anybody there? plz help! is it available in Egypt yet?????!!!!!!!!
The pricing of the Applications are far more expensive than US Pricing. I think better off buying it via US Store rather than Australian store. I am not sure why they did not globalized to one store in US Dollars rather than if you are US Clients you can't buy the application in Europe, Asia, etc. I find it rather amusing.
iPad App Store Singapore is go!
Great...Apple can't keep up with U.S. demand, now they're going to try to keep up with international demand?
Good luck trying to get an iPad after the initial 10 or 15 per store are sold...
