@FNi I had some in High School. They are kind of odd. But it is exactly that. A camera that points down at a desk and has a built in light. I think the ones we had included a built in projector. They had some female name on the side of them, an acronym for something.

@gotsmart No, they're mounted cameras pointing down onto small tables. It's for demoing mobile phones and other handheld devices.
They were used frequently during the Google IO keynotes.
