Hey, knuckleheads, the bezel is intentional. This is intended to be some sort of picture frame-ish device. I quick look at the Archos website shows they also have a 7 inch device with a much more reasonable bezel for portable use.
@chiller Hey knucklehead, Put your google-fu to the test. It's not hard to find better at lower prices and much better looks.
Stop making excuses for bad design. That's exactly why Archos isn't trying very hard. I own an A5IT and I've come to accept a certain amount of 'rabid-Archos-fanboism', but this device takes the cake in bad taste and worse specs.
The Chromebooks are here, starting with Samsung's Series 5, a cute little number that promises instant-on access, 3G connectivity, and long enough battery life to web surf with the best of 'em.
