WeTab street date pushed back to mid-September

WeTab, WePad -- whatever name you use, it's obvious that the gang at Neofonie doesn't exactly run the tightest ship. (And yes, we're still feeling a little stung from the product launch, where they tried to pass off Windows 7 as Linux.) If Amazon.de is to be believed, it looks like the €460 ($566) wonder won't be available now until mid-September. This isn't exactly the sort of thing that inspires confidence in pre-order customers, but who knows? Maybe some amusing behind-the-scenes drama is unfolding as we speak. You know how we love our schadenfreude.

First it was announced for june, then pushed back to august. Now september. They say it's the suppliers fault. But of course they always do that.

The WeTab is a wonder-weapon. But it will be too late to save Germany, just like the V2. The american troops - iPad - are coming and the french - Archos - as well.

Apple really is the best at what little they do, so don't hate on them for it.
It's annoying, however, that there fans are so hostile and can't take a little critisism which causes us to mad at the trolls
I for one cannot believe that there is a delay with a new tablet release.
What a surprise, another iPad competitor with cold feet..........iPad is just the winner I guess.
Whatever it was running on, it looks like an extremely clever UI to me for this type of device.
Well... I saw this some days ago in amazon.de. The only thing I would prefer this one to the iPad is a) bigger screen, b)flash+usb slots and c) comes already with OpenOffice. A great plus when you want it for the office while with the ipad you have to shell out 10 dollars for each app, i.e. it becomes 30 dollars more expensive >_>

Windows7-OS-OS and Linux systems are outdated with respect to operation mode and GUI graphical interfaces are almost the same since it was first Windows-OS (1995), therefore a multi-touch screen are very difficult to operate with the tips fingers, roll a Tablet-PC-OS or Linux Windows7-OS would force us to use a stylus in most cases.
The power of the Tablet PC is the ability to multi-touch screen it means to recognize multiple touch points while it is only possible with our fingers, it can not do a stylus
Windows7-OS, Linux-OS, Mac-OSx must evolve to a multi-touch interface, windows8-OS will be so, but while out .... iPHONE-OS will be taken much advantage
Windows7-OS y Linux-OS son sistemas anticuados con respecto al modo de operación y sus interfaces gráficas GUI son casi las mismas desde que apareció Windows-OS (1995), por esta razón en una pantalla multitactil son muy difíciles de operar con las yemas de los dedos , si sale un Tablet-PC con Windows7-OS o Linux-OS nos obligaría a usar un lápiz táctil en la mayoria de los casos.
El poder de los Tablets-PC es la capacidad multitactil de la pantalla que significa reconocer varios puntos de contacto a la vez que solo es posible con nuestros dedos, esto no lo puede hacer un lápiz táctil
