@Mike Vick spin, spin, spin. Oh, you mean behind closed doors, yeah, probably more than one person will leave with a shoe up their ass. Not really good news right before WWDC, but maybe he can have something prepared by then, either that or not have a Q&A to avoid such topics.
@juanvaldez .. I have been to WWDC for the last few years and they have sessions on app security for iPhone and Mac developers. They also have lots of Security Coding documentation on the ADC site.
I bet engadget is prolly laughing mad hard right now. Im sure they can see where my ip is from (the hood in nyc), just because I type a certain way on occasion does not mean I am from the U.K ha! that made my day. im from the hood homie and yes im black!
@Tes Could you possibly shut up with your issues? Honestly its like you have a list of people that you don't like so you accuse them of being racist and not being black, what is wrong with you man? You're completely going against yourself too with your racist crap, who cares if he's from the UK, a black person can't be from the UK, or say arse?
I'm tired of seeing your posts everywhere about race.
Racist?!? What are you on about today you clown? I'm British and we use the term ARSE, whereas Americans type it ASS. What has that got to do with racism?
chances are he's not Michael Vick, chances are he's certainly not American...the black thing was just incidental. Calm yourself.
Wait...and where are these posts everywhere about race again?! You know you and anyone else can happily CLICK on my name and see my totally uneditable comment history. I await patiently for your evidence of this.
@Tes I see you're getting all defensive, I am a white person. What angry racist things do you have to say to me, let it all out. Maybe we can get past this.
Tes, truth be told I am black and I really do live in NYC (the hood). I have been to the U.K and I grow up in a common wealth country. I do know the grammatical differences between American and British English and I am able to write either. I only use my name as a troll and just for fun. I do know in the United States the term "ASS" is used and not 'arse'. I use arse all the time.
So...please show me them. there was one ridiculous day on one ridiculous post. Apart from that what are you on about? It EASY...look, there's that tiny pic of me...click it. I do it ALL the time so you'll only have like one or two clicks on the "previous posts" link before you find an example of what you;re talking about...please do it and make me look like the fool I am.
Yep internet smart guy...a quick trawl through your comment history seems to find not a single use of the word arse until today, but several arguments on TUAW where you seem to like calling people ASSholes, deemed a whole comment section full of jackASSes and complain that the log in mechanism "sucks ass". On March 13th you also have an exchange with a fellow who you ask to kiss your "ass" but hay, don't let facts get in the way of your attention seeking. If you use it all the time you use it all the time.
What is it with Engadget readers and hyperbole? I find it amusing someone playing one of the characters on Engadget dropped his character for a spell and get accused of calling him a racist...OK, weird. I ask how that so, and get called angry...OK even weirder. Then some third guy who isn't even part of it decides he wants to join the circle jerk so I prove a point using Google and a couple of keywords...now I'm a stalker.
You're not a stalker, you're one of those guys who if some one calls you on saying something incorrect or stupid, instead of dropping it or going "oops, I was wrong", you go on the attack.
It's the worst kind of net tough guy crap. It's tired and it's juvenile.
Dude, I can understand defending yourself, but - this being the internet and all - some dude accusing somebody else of something isn't necessarily something to let the blood seemingly boil over.
Frankly, I couldn't give a rat's ass about who is or isn't a "racist" ITT. Mainly because I don't have access to rats, but that's beside the point.
Has this "Project $10" thing really got you this worked up? I don't say that to be an agitator, but I have noticed (especially in this thread) a markedly high level of anger and frustration. Based solely on the tone of the text, mind you.
It's frustrating to be accused of something, then when you say...I didn't do that to be then insulted by random people who it seems believe the accusation, despite it being clear it;'s false and then told you should have said "oops my bad" to something you didn't do. I pointed out the odd use of a British term to a guy who primarily pretends to be a ghetto ebonics version of an American Footballer and get told I called him a racist and that apparently I do it all the time. This then leads to insults from a myriad of different people.
Oh and there's no "anger" per se, It's just I don't want to be known as the race baiter guy because of the say so of some guy who decided to make some lie up
Honestly, I'd probably laugh about it and leave it be after the first or second request of "show me" falls on deaf ears. The poster even said the account Mike Vick is a troll account, so take that how you may. Then there's the hive-mind that happens once one guy says something vaguely funny/instigative, and then anon decides to pounce... and so on.
The internet may very well be serious business, but you can't take it seriously.
The Chromebooks are here, starting with Samsung's Series 5, a cute little number that promises instant-on access, 3G connectivity, and long enough battery life to web surf with the best of 'em.

How will Mr. Steve Jobs respond to this? I bet he's gonna kick someones arse of course!

@Mike Vick
And a user pretending to be a black man from the US revels himself to be from the UK completely blowing his cover.
@juanvaldez .. I have been to WWDC for the last few years and they have sessions on app security for iPhone and Mac developers. They also have lots of Security Coding documentation on the ADC site.
@Tes Wait, did the Vickster slip up and do this? Did I miss it? I need to see if he did. Post link.
@Tes

@Stephen1229
So basically you're not going to answer the question. Is that back peddling I'm seeing?
@Tes Anyone who reads engadget regularly knows that you go on race rants
@Tes

By the way I am a Man-U fan (up Man-U!!!)

@Mike Vick
Man U?! You've further disgraced yourself. Off the internet...now.
PS...what's with this fool Stephen here?
@Mike Vick ..."I use arse all the time. " Don't rub it in.
@Tes Um, I'm American and I say arse all the time. Maybe you're not such a good detective as you think.
@robogobo
Do you really, or are you attempting to be an internet smart guy?
@robogobo
Yep internet smart guy...a quick trawl through your comment history seems to find not a single use of the word arse until today, but several arguments on TUAW where you seem to like calling people ASSholes, deemed a whole comment section full of jackASSes and complain that the log in mechanism "sucks ass". @Tes You just took that leap from angry poster to crazy stalker. Gratz!

What did I say wrong?

I guess my question is: you alright?
@ytilanigiroon
It's frustrating to be accused of something, then when you say...I didn't do that to be then insulted by random people who it seems believe the accusation, despite it being clear it;'s false and then told you should have said "oops my bad" to something you didn't do. What would you say to that?
@ytilanigiroon
Oh and there's no "anger" per se, It's just I don't want to be known as the race baiter guy because of the say so of some guy who decided to make some lie up

@ytilanigiroon upranking your comment now purely for the "access to rats" part.
