Coming up live from D8: Steve Ballmer and Ray Ozzie, then Peter Chou from HTC

You can check in to the Ballmer liveblog right here, and the Peter Chou liveblog will be right here. See you then!

A look back on popular stories from today in a specific year.

Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
Let's see if Balmer gets 7+ front page posts, heh.
@Darth Duane
Well, let's see if they talk about something noteworthy first
@Darth Duane Yeap lets see.
@artstate
That wasn´t a requirement yesterday...
@Darth Duane
Yeah, lets see it ENGADGET!!
@Darth Duane
he will if he and the clan announce either:
1. an HTC Windows Phone 7
2. or HTC tablet using Windows Compact 7
@artstate
Jobs did not need to. All he had to do was open his mouth. He could have been talking about what he had for breakfast.
@Darth Duane
He certainly should get equal attention, with all of the highly anticipated gadgets MS has been abandoning.
@Darth Duane .. How many posts were there for Google IO. 20. That's right TWENTY.
http://www.engadget.com/tag/googleio
When will you idiots get it. When there is news Engadget posts it. If Microsoft says something interesting or showcases some news on WP7 Engadget will post it.
@taligent
But Google IO was not a single interview.....
@taligent
LOL yes lets compare a single interview that introduced no new information to a multi day event filled with some of the hottest technology news of the year. Definitely oranges and oranges.
@artstate
What noteworthy stuff did Jobs say? It sounded like BS to me.
Peter Chou is an ass.
Nice! Ill be waiting
PLEASE, someone give Ballmer a sharp slap and tell him to WAKE UP to the competition!! before the smartphone and tablet markets are completely taken over by google and apple.
@theefman
He did get one slap which helped him to realize that Allard and Bach needed to go. (a few years too late probably) They totally crushed the Entertainment and Devices division.
Ready, guys? I want atleast 4 articles detailing one sentence "nuggets" from EACH person (that's Ballmer, Ozzie, and Chou)... complete with a roundup at the end of the day... and don't forget that oh so necessary "Just in case you missed it" the day after... remember, all three get the love, savvy? Chop chop
PS. i kid, i kid... don't ban me *shudders in fear*
@skyblaze
Lmao -- I know..why can't there just be ONE article with live blog and then update it when videos etc get released and then when everything is done, put a summary at the end? I don't think I'm alone in this one -- one article is fine even if they are announcing something crazy.
I would just like to take a moment and thank all the Engadget staff for covering these events for us, I really do appreciate what y'all do.
That is all.
@ThatDudeSolo
I agree with this statement (and salute your maturity amongst our whining) +1
HTC will announce a licensing deal for HP Palm webOS =)
Hey, I can dream can't I?
What I find funny is that this has nothing to do with Apple but still most of you find a way for it to be about it in some way or form. Really don't you have any thing better to do. You can't read a single thin on here without one of you crying about how bad Apple is or how much you hate them. Why not just stick to the subject or just read the ones you like ????
