@Moisture It has to do with Sprint. Especially Palm Pre early adopters like myself. If Palm would have leaked anything about a new phone they will make, I would have waited. Shoot, even Apple allows leaks now. Maybe next year I will come back.
@Moisture so you are saying Sprint would not get the new HP Palm Smart Phone? Because that is how I read this. When HP does make a new Palm phone I bet you anything it will come out for SPRINT.
@jarobusa That is beside the point! This particular article says nothing about Sprint! AT ALL! Im just saying why does someone always have to throw in an EVO comment when the article has absolutely nothing to do with EVO??
@Smart People Play Tuba there no leaks at all. That is my point. HP / Palm is planning on a new Smart Phone. Great. But give us some details. Why is that so hard to understand for some people?
@Moisture why the anger? "because there are definitely more webOS smart phones on the way". Great. What are they? Is that OK I ask this question? And if they would have said anything about this mythical smart phone I would not be buying a EVO tomorrow.
@jarobusa Haha wow Im pretty sure you are not at all understanding what I said. This article is about how HP is planing on entering the smartphone market using Palm. You said "HTC EVO tomorrow". My question was why does someone always have to plug an EVO statement in even when the article has nothing to do with it?
@Fragmented lol..obviously people care about the EVO 4G.. it is one of the best phones on the market. It may have NOTHING to do with the above article.. but what you just said was utter BS...
@Moisture I am as tired of hearing about the Evo as the next person, but I think that these two topics are going to be linked no matter how you cut it and for good reason. The fact remains that even though HP has corrected their stance on WebOS and smartphones, its doing little to sway many early adopters of WebOS (via the Palm Pre on Sprint) from moving onto Android (via the Evo). And from the amount of feedback the Evo is getting, it appears that he isn't the only person feeling this way. The bad news is that if I am developer, its becoming clear its more financially sound to develop for either the iPhone or Android at this point. HP/Palm NEEDS to bring new hardware to the market soon if they intend to keep their marketplace alive - and like the man said, we haven't seen/heard of anything in the pipe that is keeping him away from moving to the Evo.
The N9 has arrived. What we can say from our first experience is that we're in the presence of a fantastically designed device with a gorgeous AMOLED screen and some highly responsive performance.

HTC Evo tomorrow.

Huh, doesn't sound like there IS a Palm smartphone to leak at this point.

@jarobusa . Me too. Looking to move beyond the the Pre. It was fun while it lasted but my phone is beat and Palm hasn't offered anything else up.
