Bing officially comes to iPhone, iOS

It had been rumored for a while, but now it's real: Microsoft's Bing is being added as an option to iOS' default search providers. Bing joins Yahoo and Google as Apple's two other bundled search engines -- and between the three, we imagine that comes close to wrapping 100 percent of your average user's daily generic web search habits. It's not often you see a Microsoft product headlining WWDC, so revel in the moment!

I wanted custom search engines. As a UK user I'm tired of getting American shopping and maps results on Google.

Bing Rocks you damn ignorant google fanboy! Bing Maps is better, Bing Image Search is better, Bing Video way Better, Bing Search Just a Good as Google, just that don't realize that bing gives results in category when presenting search result.

That would help bing but is probably default to google search anyway so no help lol. And bing will no longer carry cash back after july will hurt their search engine.

Seriously guys, I realize you love apple products, and you're entitled to, but can we at least have SOME kind of neutrality here? I am an android user, and when Google IO was gonig down, I came here looking for the same kind of up to the second coverage you usually give WWDC. Instead, I got a few breif articals witha few unrelated phone reviews popping up in between.

All I'm say is, if your going to cover Apple's conferences like Jobs is speaking the words of god himself, cover Google and Microsoft with the same tenacity.
