Hawaiian volcano in sped up, thermal video: pretty intense
The United States Geological Survey's thermal camera recently captured some wild stuff over at the Kilauea volcanic caldera in Hawaii. The video (which is below) has been sped up four times, and shows a 450 foot-wide vent which is usually obscured by gas fumes.The results are impressive and overwhelming. Check it out.

Just think; if we looped it and sped it up even more; we could make millions selling it to ravers and nightclubs.
@Professor Hubert J Farnsworth
Maybe this should be in "alt"? Either way, it's pretty cool. I mean hot.
@Kanga
I think this video is way cooler... "Eyjafjallajökull" ring a bell?

@Lord Vader
psh when you pussed out and got your legs cut off...yeah bad memories is right! you haven't changed vader, you think you have, but you haven't!
@Bruce Willis From his point of view, you're the one who hasn't changed.
@Lord Vader
Vader I have some questions for you...
Iphone or android?
Pc or mac?
Are u a geek of any type?
But more impotantly how is the next death star coming along? I heard that steve jobs was still alive in one of those freeze chamber thngs (the one han solo was in) and that u were thinking of hiring him?!?! Bad decsion. At least your death star computer will be jailbroken (I hope)...
@theonlysmr
iPhone/Android- Niether, the only side I am on is the Darkside
PC/Mac- Neither, Holograms with HolOS
Geek?- I'm on Engadget. That should be an answer enough. But at
least I'm not like my brother (through the force) Chad. He's just a dork
New Deathstar?- The Empire does not comment on rumours or speculation
Steve as Emperor again?- No, he has made it very clear he wants Apple to be without partnerships (we where once in a merger but then he decided to go his separate ways)
@Lord Vader
Mr. Vader. your Lava "incident" will be nothing near the power of Obi-One's bakery products!!

Wow, this is one of the reasons i stay a little bit away from volcanoes.
Anyone else sick of Lord Vader? It's kinda funny, but EVERY post is a Star Wars reference and isn't really relevant to the topic. I love when people have funny posts, but it seems like Lord Vader is on every other article I read. Doesn't He/She have a life?
You don't need an alternate online persona, just be yourself and contribute to the discussion. If you want your Vader account to post once in a while, if you have a really funny comment, then do so but not all the time. I do enjoy the occasional Emmett Brown "Great Scott!" comment, which usually fits in nicely and makes me smile, but it's only like once a week and isn't annoying.
