As someone who has been trying to preorder all day, this annoys me. I suppose after my 24 hours straight on the Apple store I will be waiting outside on the day of too. Free t-shirts anyone?
@mvd7793 That's what every single tech blog is missing. This wasn't a pre-order "disaster"... this was millions of people pre-ordering the thing at the same time.
Settle down mate - here in New Zealand we're still waiting for someone from Apple to remember us and finally announce a release date for the iPad, let alone the iPhone 4.
lol i just don't get it, i spent weeks reading hands on reviews and then weeks looking for the best price supplier and then i got the phone that i knew was a great phone running a great maturing os, at a great price! your all just so easy.. in fact your all Apples bitches ;-) bend over and prepare to receive!! here comes down rank oblivion :D
@youngluck Yes, but in my opinion Apple and AT&T's system should be able to handle millions of people. The system had problems as early as 4:00 AM EST (1:00 AM PST) when the system came out. I completely understand that millions of people is a lot and it's quite difficult to handle that many. However, I sincerely doubt that an unannounced release time at 1:00-4:00 AM had millions of people trying simultaneously.
@Twitchy Ah yes. I'm glad I'm not an international customer. That must be frustrating. (then again, it's also frustrating literally devoting an entire day to preordering an iPhone and not being able to get one).
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.

@mvd7793 - I'm in the same boat. I've been trying to pre-order literally all day, and I STILL haven't successfully made one.
