"As someone who doesn't reside in the USA, I was wondering what would be the best way to get internet for my computer in the US for a couple of weeks? If it were Europe I know I'd look for some prepaid data. Is there anything similar offered by American carriers? A MiFi or a data SIM that I can tether from would work, but I'm trying to maintain a tight budget. Help!"

To date NOT a single android phone has outperformed nor outsold the iPhone 3GS (and of course the iPhone 4 is coming out which will continue this trend)
verizon has spent millions of these "droid does" commercials yet they still ended up losing money.

Heh. Right. I had an iPhone 3G. Switched to the Droid. Upgrade. My friends have had iPhones too. Most of them have Droids now. Maybe it's AT&T, maybe it's Apple, but there's a reason many people are happier with their non-iPhone experience, and most of them are going to Android.
The iPhone 4 is pretty sweet, and it'll get a lot of sales. Apple makes cool devices and even when they have obvious faults it's marketing division is second-to-none. (MMS anyone?) That certainly doesn't mean that there are no other worthwhile phones out there: These new Moto devices will keep up with, if not exceed Apple's latest. And when December rolls around and Moto's 2Ghz LTE Droid 3 comes out, you'll be a little less impressed with Yourself / Apple.

The Droid outsold the original iPhone in the same amount of time, 1.2 million. Since then they've sold many, many more plus the Milestone in the rest of the world. I've seen more Droids than iPhones at my work. Boy that must sting to you Apple loving imbeciles that think sales are all that matters. Some people just so happen to like hardware improvements and a customizable and open environment. Now add up all the other android phones.

Fandriods need to just deal with the fact that the ONLY reason that Android beat iPhone in sales for that quarter was because iPhone didn't release that quarter. When it comes down to it, Android will NEVER ever beat an iPhone launch. ESPECIALLY if iOS was on more than one handset, unlike android which will get pimped out onto any old device. Sure there were issues with the preorders today but that's not gonna stop the lines and droves of people on the 24th who didn't preorder from lining up for the next best piece of hardware.
The funny thing is that if iPhone was on Verizon or Sprint most of you would shit your pants and drop your phones for it, but its not and you can't have it because you're misinformed about AT&T's service, which is actually not that bad, and because you believe everything you read on on the internet you wont switch to att.
Android may be innovative and the next best thing, but it still has a LOOOOONG way to go to beat the king.

You appear to have forgotten to factor in that fact that the iPhone has been out for two and a half years LONGER than the Droid. Of course it's sold more -- it's been out for over twice as long.
Do you remember Apple's advertising campaign back when the iPhone was first released? Every other commercial featured an iPhone being held by an anonymous talking hand droning on about the iPhone's ability to send e-mails, text messages, AND browse the web *GASP*.
