Check out our Nintendo 3DS hub!
Nintendo officially rolled out and showed off the 3DS at E3 2010, and it's looking pretty good. If you missed any of the 3D action, be sure to head over to the all new Nintendo 3DS hub where you'll learn everything we know, as we find out. Enjoy.

kinda buggy, doesn't load any content...
@Twoleaf Im just excited for Ocarina of Time for it!! Its going to be in 3D, should be reason enough to buy the device :)
@Twoleaf Well... How could a 3D product fit in a 2D space?
Nintendo need to release the full specs such as what graphic car, cpu etc..
@techlord DS can not fit car into self and Poland can not into space.
I wish they also adopt sony style d-pad.
@techlord Why would the abandon their iconic dpad style? I heard people had problems with the PSP's dpad.
@Khalid Shahin The PSP dpad sucks but the dualshock dpad rules. And yes they are different.
@techlord
Nintendo owns the patent on "their" d-pad, I don't think they would use anything else.
@techlord
They invented the damn thing I think it should be a bit more refined.
Uhhh what an ugly looking device. I love the DS and all but the older ones looked way better in my opinion :)
@BubblegumBalloon
Haha, yea, it's pretty hideous. Shame on their design team.
@eDan
I think its mainly the colours that are getting worse, white was my favorite colour for the DS but half blue half black... uch
@BubblegumBalloon Yeah it looks real ugly they need to get some Sony guys to design the hardware at least psp looked sexy as bell when it launched.
@alex2792
If the PSP is the test, Nintendo needs to make it uglier.
@BubblegumBalloon Isn't this just a prototype to show the general form of the handheld? Here's hoping that this was just something that Nintendo cobbled together as a template. At least make the colours match and ditch the faux-metal.
@bleep ur crazy the original psp looked great when it launched....now the go not so much
@BubblegumBalloon : Yep, as Deed says, these are all prototype units. Remember the prototype DS? ;)
@eDan Yeah, it's looking pretty rough, but according to Iwata, it is just a prototype. Hopefully that means less ugly in the future.
Way too much bezel on the top screen.
The DS Lite had the best design imo. If they could keep it pretty much the same way, I'd be very happy.
@leigh
Oh I'm sure that due time, Nintendo will improve on the design. I mean, look how ugly the DS Brick was? DS Lite by far is the most sexiest design.
Now if only they can add another analog pad....
@daraikenu Actually, they could easily add another analogue nub if the power button was relocated to the side. Then again, that's just going by what's on the surface. Perhaps there wouldn't be room in its internal components.
-Fingers crossed everybody!-
@Laura June
You have an extra "rolled" in your article.
@DgDeBx What's wrong with "rolled officially rolled"? :D Thanks.
If you ask me, they need to fill in some of that bezel on the top half.

@OceanSam Oh wow. That is AMAZING! It is indeed dreamy and makes the original look even worse than it already was. :(
I'm a little disappointed..
They obviously have red cases, and they obviously have blue ones.
Why not make a Red&Blue one, for nostalgia's sake!!
:( :( :(
(but otherwise, YEAY!)
