I really dont see this competing with the likes of Xbox 360 used as a multimedia hub. Web pages on the TV with a remote is NOT the best way to go about this, and without killer features like being a HD AAA gaming console as well, why would I want to use it? Xbox 360 as a Media Center Extender already gives me that and more... when you add in all the native things 360 can and will do in the near future (Netflix, local radio, AAA gaming, 5.1 SS, ESPN3, Bing, Zune music and movies/TV, voice/facial/motion activated controls with Kinect, PC Streaming etc), Google TV is not needed. You can now get a 360 for $149... why pay the same or more for a set top box that uses IR blasters and doesn't have everything needed for a great entertainment experience in the living room.
@gophergun WMC on W7 doesn't need a native browser if you have your PC connected to your HDTV... its nothing to just toggle between the 2. However, what I'm speaking on is the Xbox 360 (and others like it) as the set top box this device will be competing with... My Xbox 360 with Media Center already does just about everything Google TV does and even more that it doesn't do while also providing a kick ass gaming console for as little as $99... why would I want to browse full web pages on a 50" HDTV with a remote? For that ill have my phone, Tablet, Netbook, Laptop.

@timotim There's no native web browser (and trying to set one up on W7 is a huge pain), and the Internet TV is seriously gimped from the PC version.
