I'm sorry, but whenever I see people camping out for a piece of technology it's just quite sad really. Have people still not learned what we in the future like to call, 'The Internet'? I mean seriously. This guy is probably taking a week of vacation time (or he still lives at home with no job) to camp out for a phone. Seriously. I'm a big gadget lover, but I have never waited in line for anything when you can just order it and have it shipped to your door. This mentality has always been very 'loser' to me.
Well, looks like he's gotten his 15 minutes of fame since someone seems to be recording him. Seriously though, a weeks worth of income or a device you can probably walk in store and pick up a week or two later? Not worth it. He's either rolling in dough, unemployed or on workers comp.

A WEEK OR TWO later!? People PRE ORDERING them are being pushed out further then that.
Even with this sucker being pushed by Apple, AT&T (corporate & authorized retailer), Best Buy, RadioShack, and WalMart, you're gonna be out at LEAST 2 months before you can just walk in to any one of these stores and pick one up.
Good hell, once they open up to Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint, there's gonna be legitimate riots at launch.

Damn.. and I was hoping to get there at 6 a.m. and hopefully just wait an hour or two to pick up my reserved one. This has got me nervous!! :/
I thought that was the point of preordering. I did this for the original iPhone, but at least you could preorder it. I would get a new one but I think my 3GS does a great job. No point at the moment.
