JumpStart Dual USB charger sports an integrated rechargeable battery
It's a sad fact of life, really. Regardless of where you go, you'll end up needing to recharge something in your carry-on. Just the mere thought of locating an AC adapter in that airport you're headed to is enough to give even the most hardened traveler a reason to think twice, and tracking down one of those inverters for your road trip is just about the last thing you'd like to be doing. DigiPower has just pushed out the solution to all of your problems, with the JumpStart Dual 2-in-1 battery / AC adapter offering the ability to juice up a pair of USB devices via the internal 1,700mAh rechargeable battery. Each port is capable of rejuvenating 5V devices, and there's a status indicator, emergency flashlight and folding plugs for "easy transport." The company claims that this can be recharged over 500 times, after which you'll need to contact Sir Odor Blocker after the break for a pinch of P-P-P-P-P-P-Power.

@F C
I almost fell out of my seat from that comeback!
Not.
Got a headache now...wait what was this about?
haaa?
The Android users here will buy that one in hordes. Success guaranteed. At last wil they be able to watch one full youtube video without running out of battery: “Android OS is using 98% of the battery."
@magadget
Wow nice comment history. Did your father abuse you with a mobile operating system as a child?
@magadget Your comment is utter crap (and I will assume you are an iPhone fanboy), but since you mention it, if I WANTED to increase my battery usage I can just buy a spare battery and swap them out.
you're a troll and I hope the flames consume you.
@magadget
You are so damn stupid you're making the world face palm simultaneously.
Good commercials, too bad the new scents still stank.
Money Mike: i'm a boy Damon :)
Anyway,why that man is naked ?
@Ahmadsan
All will be explained in this video..

@Maj ooh I see..
IPad charges at 5V, its the milliamps which it requires more of.
Did anyone else made sure that the number of P's in the video is as mentioned at the end of the article?
Well, I did.
Nice technology...funny commercial.
Such an epic commercial!! Gotta Love Terry Crews!!
@mjkxxl
He'll do anything for a joke and still be able to snap you in half afterwards.
@arkweld lol exactly! He was hilarious in Everybody Hates Chris. Have not watched him in his new TV show, I only get cable internet, not cable itself.
ROFLMAO... That was funny... stupid, but funny nonetheless.
C-C-C-C-C COMBOBREAKER
Aren't all USB devices 5v and the iPad simply draws 1000mA of current vs the typical >500mA?
Love this guy in movies/shows he's hilarious!! Especially in the movie white chicks!!
"Left chicks in wheel chairs" HAHAHAHAHAHA!!
Nothing new over all the other portable, rechargeable battery supplies out there, except that it has 2 USB connection ports?
world first my ass. black and Decker have been making those for years
1700 mAh for $50? Ok, noted.
Or you could spend $10 more and get 8800 mAh with the same amount of charges per lifetime: http://amzn.to/awV0Yx
Choices, choices.
Oh, and for you iPad owners who need higher current at 5V (yes, Engadget, it's 5V), here's a quality little AC adapter I use that should save you some money. 2 A max output with one device connected, or 1 A per channel with 2 connected. You could charge two iPads at once so you could multitask! j/k guys, hope it helps :)

BLOCK, BUILDING KICK......EXPLOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSIIIIIOOONNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have come to the conclusion.........that Google should hire this man and whoever designed these ads as well as the Terry Tate ads and have them market Android. The commercials would be beyond epic and would increase public awareness about their product.
And like Apple has proven with their Mac/PC ads, you don't have to really be saying anything intelligent, just make it funny and/or cool!!
That's why I don't buy iphones I buy batteries & never run out of current.

Sounds like the Music Power Encore. Which is like 11 dollars and some change on Walmart.com
@Firehazel: Black & Decker makes/made a series of these too (such as the CP120B), they're currently available in a few surplus/overstock stores around here for ~$10
It is a awesome idea, but to bad this isn't anything new. I went to radio shack last week and purchased this but from a different maker. It's called ten IGoGreen and has a 1800 mh li ion battery inside instead of the 1700 this one has. I use it every day when my iPod touch and htc incredible go out on me. I left it in charged today for about twenty minutes and brought my htc incredible from 20 % to about 80%. Awesome device, go review that engadget
