First iPhone 4 units being delivered

Aw, suki suki now! Looks like we've got our first iPhone 4 delivery here in the US, a full 24 hours before the first batch is supposed to land. The best news isn't that throngs of pre-orderers are seeing their units "out for delivery" today, but that this Mac Rumors user was able to activate his unit already in seamless fashion. 'Course, we highly doubt it'll be so easy for everyone else crashing the servers tomorrow and Thursday, but there it is. So, anyone else seeing their iPhone 4 marked as "out for delivery?" Or better still, "in hand?" Give us a shout in comments below.

@Eli Haj Are you really trying to compare Categories with Folders? Folders is so well implemented that is silly nobody thought of doing it like that before in a mobile device. I had Categories and I hated the configuration the crashing and the slow uninspired transitions.

Folders aren't perfect but I think is a big enough reason for every 3G owner to upgrade to iOS 4.

I remember when I was younger I was asked if I could play basketball my answer was yes... When I think about it now my answer should have been NO... You should consider what it means to say you had folders by comparing what you had with what you have now and think if they are really equal.

UPS + Canada Border Services Agency = recipe for disaster. I try to USPS things from the US when possible... even FedEx is better than UPS. Alas, the brown box is not always avoidable. :(

i'm sure the fedex planes from china are special flights packed full with iphones and nothing else to ensure this happens on time or sooner. guarantee of a full plane with one stop = $$$ either in real dollars or in efficiency over a regular overnight flight of parcels.

ups from cali to canada is probably on a truck... forever. but i get your point.

Dude don't worry about it too much, in some respects, you were lucky to have missed the online clusterf**k that was June 15th. We were up at 3AM trying to order the things, we actually got checked out from the Apple store online about 6 o'clock that night, save 2 or 3 trips to the AT&T store trying to set up a new line.
