I don't think owning one is pretentious. That's silly. It's the people that have to absolutely run out and get it the first day and then go around showing everybody they got it on the first day. Get over yourself. It's just a device.
Just wait about 2-4 weeks and you can just walk into the store and get one with no problems. Save yourself the headache.
