The somewhat rough look of the school project made by Karim Amrani in the video shouldn't fool you -- it's a pretty cool implementation and combination of virtual experiences and physical sensation. Take a look at the full video to watch people's reactions to the piece -- it's pretty fascinating stuff.

The faces the people make make it seem that the future isn't the only thing that's coming.
Fun project! I like everyone's excited reactions too. I'd think that in the not-so-distant future we'll see full body suits with multiple sensors and nano-scale motorized devices that simulate different forms of touch and pressure. Slap on a full visor face mask with a wrap-around, flexible HD screen and hop on a multi-directional treadmill and you'll be strutting through Disneyland! Since this is the future we're talking about, I'll assume this will all come from Japan.
