Statement by Apple on White iPhone 4
White models of Apple's new iPhone® 4 have proven more challenging to manufacture than expected, and as a result they will not be available until the second half of July. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected.
White colour turns yellow.
Apple you better do it right.

Let's hope apple wouldn't make it a disaster out of this.
If they make a disaster out of this, the news will make this matter bigger than the size of north america + africa altogether.

@robotrock how is it yellowing or cracking? isnt it encased in this new revolutionary glass? would that keep it from hitting the air to yellow, or help prevent vibration to crack?

@DirtyVegas The front/back of the new iphone are different material. On the 3G(S), the "White" phone just has a white plastic back rather than a black plastic back.
@DirtyVegas i have a white 3G and it has never changed colors.

@DirtyVegas You are correct. I have had a white iPhone since the 3g came out and it has not had any yellowing. The only issue that I have had with the white iPhone is crack around the connector at the bottom of the phone.

they fixed that issue like 2 yrs ago on the macbooks. They changed the plastic type i remember replacing so many top covers...ugh/ I had it down to less than 1 minute.

The white ones are made from unicorn ivory so in short supply.

It does sell a white iPhone, however the white is only on the back of the phone, not the front. They also didn't have to use the adhesive that they used on the iPhone 4..
@DirtyVegas actually I heard a bunch of stories of the 3GS overheating and causing a tint, I think they actually reported it on here. Here or Gizmodo

I concur. Even though I don't want to pay $30 for it, a white phone and a black bumper are what I'm looking at getting. Mind you We won't get the iphone until late July anyway.
