"As someone who doesn't reside in the USA, I was wondering what would be the best way to get internet for my computer in the US for a couple of weeks? If it were Europe I know I'd look for some prepaid data. Is there anything similar offered by American carriers? A MiFi or a data SIM that I can tether from would work, but I'm trying to maintain a tight budget. Help!"
I think Hulu is going to have a uphill battle convincing people to switch to a pay service, when they've been free to date. They're going to have offer more than they do now to entice you to switch (no commercials, more content) OR remove free content (possibly over time), so that you have little choice but to subscribe. I'm suprised they've given away as much content as they have for free to date.
That being said, I think digital downloading/streaming is the long term winner here and will one day be the norm Since Netflix started offering Watch Instantly on a bunch of devices, I now use that almost exclusively rather than disc. If only everything was available that way.
