"As someone who doesn't reside in the USA, I was wondering what would be the best way to get internet for my computer in the US for a couple of weeks? If it were Europe I know I'd look for some prepaid data. Is there anything similar offered by American carriers? A MiFi or a data SIM that I can tether from would work, but I'm trying to maintain a tight budget. Help!"
Not bad. If I liked Blackberry like I used to a year ago, I would've gotten this phone. Too bad the "new trend" is to put a huge screen on it and a 1ghz processor, then slap on some awesome features. Oh well, people will still buy this phone

Interesting point. It's all got to do with what your main priority is, I guess. I mean, that doesn't excuse RIM from continuing to create devices that ONLY work well as messaging machines. It's really not any wonder that while blackberry is no.1 in market share, it's lagging behind in browser usage percentages. Behind Apple and Google.
But, and I'm not being sarcastic, they have said (Mike Lazaridis has, anyway) that they are working on making the platform and the browser... Well he didn't use this word, but: Modern.
FYI I used a blackberry for 8 years and now I use a Droid incredible, so that nobody trolls me down for being something I'm not. Like, for instance, an iPhone fanman lol
