Well we've made it to our tenth show, and it was nothing short of explosive! For our entry into the world of double digits, we sat down with Late Night host (and all around awesome dude)

Good job with being honest. Saying you get paid from Apple but you still like to say you like your IPhone.
@fort I agree. No wonder the reviews are extremely biased. Also Sprint sponsors you and there was not a single word about the EVO on this or the last show. How sad. I think I am going to stop reading engadget
@fort Did you actually think I was being serious?
Can you make an audio version of this. I like to listen to podcast and these types of shows at work on my zune.
@a falling stone
You can upload the video podcast to your zune and STILL just listen to it. You don't actually have to WATCH it. I upload this to my zune and while listening on a bus, I almost never have to look at the video part, although I did last night because there was a nutter on the bus raving at everyone and it gave me a good place to not look at the nutjob. Mind you a video version is a larger file, but meh. You can always delete it off the zune later.
Joanna can't stop saying she can see herself.
(Maybe I just notice because I'm staring at her)
The four of you can't stop talking over each other.
(Listen to Howard Stern and note what happens when any one person speaks ... everyone else shuts up)
Toshiba sucks. Kinect is dope.
Despite all this ... I love this show. Nice, Josh.
I think Jimmy should be permanent co-host and sold to someone (Discovery? G4? ABC?)
And levels are off ... Paul and Nilay are too low ...
Can we please get some Close-captioning on these vids? I would love to know what Fallon & Topolsky were talkin about but even my expert lip-reading has a limit.
Come'on Engadget show your open-source pride and give us close-captions.
Josh is the most homely looking person I've ever seen.
Also what is the song in the beginning?
Haha i was at jimmy fallon, first one to say the x was upside down!!
Usually I can start watching the HD version while it's still downloading. Not this time. The MOOV atom is at the end instead of the beginning of the file, or interspersed as for streaming. Different encoder settings? I don't want to wait!
That kudo guy was an ass, exactly the kind of person you'd imagine working at a Balmer run microsoft, juts yell like an ass over the entire demonstration, probably refused to put on a mic.
How about a giveaway on a date with Joanna? It would be a lot more interesting than playing video games...
I know sometimes you don't include the giveaways after the show, so I'm extremely pleased that you decided to do so this time! That was tremendously entertaining, probably the funniest part of the show. I wouldn't worry about the audience too much, I think they were mostly just being silly and having fun. Maybe Jimmy got then into a more exaggerated mood; Engadget humor is usually more low key. He was a good guest, by the by, and I liked his wierdo Wizard story.
Invaderbacca had what I think were the best visuals on the show so far, and Glomag put in his typical great music & performance. Great stage presence by him. Loved the show, though I would have liked to see you talk a bit more about the Droid X. Loved Joanna's funky gadget finds. The Kinect stuff mostly bored me. It's neat to have soem video game stuff, but I'd rather leave most of that to the gaming centric sites. I would have liked to see you ask them why it couldn't pick up Nilay's body very well, as you could clearly see in the tech demo at the end. Looking forward to more Engadget!
Fun show!
I wish they has spend more time comparing the different phones - I was waiting as well for the Droid X appearance.
But you know what was super cool and had giggling all the way through.... that I was watching the flash version full screen on my Nexus One without a hitch!!!!!!!!!
guys just stfu every now and then and let joanna talk a bit...
btw some time around middle topolsky seamed to get pissed off and the show got exponentially worse (chaotic)... cheers
@Esteban Ballmero "The Olivia Munn of Engadget"
@GeneralThade
Well said sir. I imagined a world where fanboyz of all factions could come together in peace, mutual respect, and agreement. You have made that world a reality. I +1 and salute you.
talk about a nerd crowd, Hey I'm missing!
I actually know Kudo Tsunoda. Back when I lived in Illinois, I was going to school at the Art Institute of IL. EA Chicago invited our animation students down to the studio for the day. So I met him there. And get this! The studio was literally down the hill from my parent's house. So awesome... after that I met him again. He was one of the judges for our annual animation contest. Then a few years later, BOOM! I saw him on youtube promoting this so called, Project Natal. I was like, I KNOW THAT GUY!! So I guess he moved onto bigger things. Hes one crazy funny dude I tell you. This is a true story. :P I wonder if he would remember me. I think he would.
Was I seeing LOST producer Damon Lindelof in the show's audience??
this quicktime format is a pain in da glutts. Can we have some other format support for the show engadget
WTH are you using a new player?
I used to watch the shows on my Android phone, now it doesn't work anymore.
And it's your fault, not Android's, since desktop Chrome can't handle it either.
Please fix this or revert to the old player.
Best.Show.Ever
Josh and Jimmy should definitely get their own show.
Josh and Jimmy really ruled the show. But whos the dork from Microsoft?? the sun glasses and that over sized t-shirt. YEAH, "we're in touch with our customers", my god...
Wow, Joanna Stern is really cute.
God sometimes the Engadget guys really get on my nerves the way they talk over each other. During the demos of the fake iPad and that Toshiba thing, Josh and Nilay were really getting on my nerves with there constantly trying to be funny and dominate the conversation.
@DaveF I just registered to basically say the same thing. Lo'and behold, the very last comment, yours, already did it for me. It pissed me off so greatly trying to get through watching this and having to listen to people who don't know how to hold a God damned conversation without being freaking annoying lil'bitches. Good grief, the guy with the glasses is disturbingly annoying to the point of exhaustion.
