The dramatic pause was great.
@Smart People Play Tuba
He didn't pause when he sang it on his show... I think he really forgot the words for a second. But yeah, the pause was awesome.
He managed to avoid the F-bomb for that clip, at least.
Best damn show ever!
@Smart People Play Tuba : balls in your mouth!
@Smart People Play Tuba
Anyone got the lyrics posted yet?
EPIC!
@Dadu
Are you the same guy who uses that avatar on The AV Club?
Best balls in your mouth, ever.
Don't go in the ocean or you'll get balls in your mouth.
HAHAHA.'balls in your mouth'
that was... awesome. I love how they edited the crotch pinch into the middle of it.. hilarious.
"Just this guy ! "
"Pinch to zoom!"
This was my first time at an Engadget Show and it was awesome :D Great job guys, it's much appreciated!
It's pretty funny but I have to be honest: I am so upset by all the animals dying in the Gulf that I cannot laugh.
I'm scared to death for the Gulf and the wildlife that lives in it.
Even if they finally cap this thing in August, oil will be washing ashore until Christmas.
If the relief wells fail, which they could, we're in dire trouble. At that point imploding the well via explosives(even nuclear) will be the only option besides letting the well leak itself dry... which could take YEARS and would certainly destroy the Gulf.
@Air Force One
It's not like BP is the leading lobbyist for the cap and trade legislation and stands to make a TON of money for their bankster owners by letting the spill get worse... oh wait. AND, it's not like the president has said he will let crisis get worse to whatever extent gets his legislation passed through... oh wait. This whole deal is a farce.
It seems like EVERYONE in authority is a corrupt scumbag these days.
As to the animals, I am personally worried about the human deaths as a result of the oil and especially due to the toxic chemicals that they are using in mass. A hurricane is all it takes to destroy the ecology on the coast for years.
@New Reformation Are you some kind of conspiracy theorist or something? Step away from FOX News!
@Air Force One
Buzzkill
@RincewindWiz
I don't watch Fox. I look for facts and don't care about the social detriment of portraying truth as truth. I am not some "'The aliens did it!' conspiracy theorist". I don't care if you think I am nuts, take real initiative and search for the truth. Once you have, get back to me.
@Air Force One Obama could have been down there from day one but he was too busy playing golf to care.
@New Reformation Sure I care about the human toll too, but humans have a brain and brain-stem to help them stay out of the oil.
Animals do not have that benefit. They do not know any better than to fly or dive, or swim, right into it. It's heartbreaking to me.
I was concerned with the politics of this at one point(Obama, BP, etc..), but no more. Not until this thing gets stopped.
There will be plenty of time for recriminations AFTER the leak is plugged or imploded.
People do not realize the scope of this disaster. Most of the oil that is leaking is ending up under the water in plumes and/or settling on the ocean floor where it will devastate the food chain.
Most of the animals dying are dying out in the open ocean where their bodies float to the bottom for no one to ever find.
I am very fearful that the food chain in the gulf could collapse, if it hasn't already begun to.
I am fearful that dolphins, whales, et al, are going to perish.
I am fearful that a way of life for millions is going to be lost forever.
I fear a tropical storm or hurricane is going to make the matter worse tenfold.
I fear that the scope and gravity of what is happening in the gulf, eludes even myself.
But most of all, I fear they will not be able to stop this leak. It's almost as if that damn well is cursed.
@Air Force One This is just the beginning. If you can't handle this, you won't want to live to 2012... just sayin.
@Shalabi
Yeah cause it's Obama's fault that BP didn't heed Haliburton's warning and actually build the damn thing correctly from the start.
Right.
Hah. Well done.
I would watch it, but I can't because you don't turn your video content to HTML 5 for iPhone users
@sshole Works fine for me on my phone. Oh wait, that's because my phone isn't made by Apple.
@RincewindWiz Yeah, I figured someone would say that...
While I agree, apple should allow some form of flash (though id like them to use their weight to force adobe to make flash nowhere near as bloated as it is now) I still think HTML 5 is a step forward.
Also, I'm on the iphone app, why release one if half the contents gonna be kinda useless :/
Also on the topic of the iPhone app, there's rotation bugs you guys might want to take a look at
I've still got nothing but love for engadget though.
Joshua Topolsky publishes only Apple-related news. Just like the rest of the world would not be interested to hear if Symbian CTO leaves Nokia!
That's major news all over the world except in Joshua Topolsky's Apple World.
What's that in your mouth?
along with mobile, HD and alt, Engadget should have a "balls in your mouth" sub section, at the very least a Hub
@jussipussi
http://www.angelfire.com/tv2/homerjs/anybody_care.wav
I wish he'd done it Neil Young style, like this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VMUQbNpWRc
Euge forehead.
@jussipussi Yep, engadget would rather milk 5+ stories from their stupid show/advertisement than actually cover real news.
@jussipussi
The Register is crap.
sorry guys awful remix...
Jimmy is funny
Who lives in a Pineapple Under the Sea? "Spongebob Squarepants!" Who Died In An Oil Spill because of BP? "Spongebob Squarepants!"
@goseki to bad that aint true. crappy tv shows like that are ruing the younger generations of children in this country.
@(Unverified) The Register is crap, but they do report big tech news (unlike some "non-crap" sites I know!)
Hey pussi, you've got something in your mouth.
He`s doing the Jimmie Johnson comb forward thing.
LoL, just this guy that was hilarious. Love Jimmy Fallon, especially in the beginning but his show has gradually become more and more sucky because he just keeps doing the exact same jokes and segments and stuff.
@ChrisAre
Holy shit, angelfire is still around?!
I hate jimmy fallon. he's a shumck and I'm tired of engadget's endless promotion of his garbage show, wake me when you make it on the daily show.
@npa189 Seriously, i swear this guy sold his soul to the devil for a career since he's not funny at all, his show is painful to watch and for some reason engadget seems to care what a terrible comedian thinks about gadgets.
@sintricate Why is he famous? and why is Topolsky in love with him? He's a 3th string NBC idiot that needs to fall into a lake of fire. I'm not trying to troll, I just really hate Jimmy Fallon and every time I go to engadget I see his name. Between this and the mess that was gizmodo I running out of tech blogs to frequent lately.
@npa189 I meant 3rd, and yes I see the irony in my grammar.
@npa189 If you feel so strongly about him, why don't you just act out your avatar. Or try growing up.
@npa189
Agreed.
Jimmy Fallon is in no way funny.
