No browser should have the total market domination that IE enjoyed. It made MS sit on their ass and gave them too much control over to make the web bend to their wishes instead of the other way around.
Safari blows, but I'd like to see IE9, FFox, and Chrome sharing equal marketshare. =)
@Ducman69 absolutely true. When IE was "king" it was the time of IE6 if I remember. IE6 stayed as IE6 for how long... it was only when firefox started to creep up did development for IE7 even begin to take precedence at Redmond.
