Mario live wallpaper for Android: better than a Tanooki Suit in the summer

Seriously, words cannot describe how incredibly entertained we are by this Mario Live wallpaper for Android 2.1 and above devices. All across the home and locked screen, our favorite Italian faux-plumber protagonist runs through randomly-generated levels across various themes like outside, underground, and castle. @angrymanhands yeah i've been there 5 times and it doesn't work, scanning or using the url on my droid, or even downloading it directly to the phone. I guess it just doesn't work for the droid, which pisses me off, cause this wallpaper looks awesome

@Measlesopolis It does work on the Droid. BUT - for some reason you have to download it on a PC - transfer it to your memory card - and then install it.

Runs perfect on my droid - 2.1.

@Maeztro Really? That's kind of crazy. It's a wallpaper. It's very cool, but it's a wallpaper...that will eat your battery life and take a chomp out of your CPU performance as well. Away from a charger, you're going to want to turn this thing off.

@Maeztro what an idiot you are then! The EVO is a piece of junk. The camera and video capturing are horrible. Plus, live wallpapers like this eats your battery life like crazy (the guy in the video even says this). Granted I think this is an awesome live wallpaper, but it's not practical by any means or usable in the real world.

This is true. One of the settings is to see the line renderings of Mario AI's path considerations - gives the whole thing a Donnie Darko time traveling effect, and makes it even more mesmerizing to watch.

Live wallpapers rock! I remember seeing them when Sun was promoting its Looking Glass OS, and they looked cool then. It's highly cool to have them in Android, especially since you can do nearly anything with them.
