Can Super Scribblenauts do that?
Those are some powerful vacuums. What if there's a blackout or he accidentally tugs on the cable the wrong way lol.
@Yankee

Man...he really "sucks."
@JesusHChrist That's uncanny, I was just talking about you earlier...
Up exactly the same but people for some reason believe he invented it ... stupid people ... staid I tell you ... Engadget pull this story now ... this story is a joke
"Spiderman, who isn't rea..." no, No, Nooo000OOOOO!!!!!!!!
I hope he has a really long extension cord...

I was gonna say... This little kid got this idea from "Bang goes the theory!" On BBC
@fredturville If you'd seen any of the interviews with him you'd see that he very quickly credits Bang Goes the Theory with the idea. He just wanted to make one for himself. He never claims to have invented it.
At his age I did a project in the same subject and made a coat hanger out of wood. I was never in the belief I was the first!
I bet this kid gets all the putang.
@JesusHChrist, Lord Vader
Most epic thread ever.
A since-canceled Discovery Channel Show, "Prototype This", did an episode on wall scaling exo-skeletons using fish hooks which worked as well as (if not better than) this.
What happens if your fat?
@BHFoster 2500 watt vacuums
Way to go...as far as the cable plug lets him...but still, nice to see motivation materializing on a young kid. Keep it up!
Just waiting for the scene from The Sandlot where the vacuums explode and he goes tumbling down.
i just knew when i saw this article that there were going to be comments taking the piss out of this kid. am i just from a naiive and innocent time where you would look at something like this and just say "hey, that's really cool" and not say something arsey about hoping he falls and breaks his back??
@vanglorious
These are the facts ... he said on tv he saw someone make this on a show in England called 'bang goes the theory' where someone scaled a 7 story building with the same invention
On the same show he tried saying it was also his idea ..... but no this little kid should be slated for lying ..... that is what we are objecting on these comments ..... the little kid did not invent this and did not go to the shops himself and pay £100 for 2 hoovers !!!
AND HE DID NOT MACHINE ANY OF THE WOODEN PARTS NEEDED FOR THIS EITHER !!! HE IS ONLY 13 THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE !!!
Now if he can climb with a generator strapped to his back capable of sustaining 2800 watts I'll be impressed.
