Still don't have my OTA. Starting to think Google doesn't know how to release OTAs properly. Or Maybe there is no OTA and this is just a marketing trick.
Come on Google, get your act together and release the bloody thing properly to your Nexus customers. Don't be a failure.
And no I refuse to install manually because Google is too incompetent to do an proper OTA.
on T-Mobile and my neither my girlfriend or I have received Froyo love. We live 2 miles from google too. Bastards!!! :/
@HeeHaw I got it on my unlocked Nexus One and I live in Italy xD
Excuse me, but I have a Nexus One and I didn't get an OTA update. Can it be that if you're with AT&T you don't' get it?
Why don't they just say that there was a partial Nexus One update.
Stock N1 on at&t. I haven't received OTA notifications so I manually applied both 2.2 updates. Self service works with no waiting. Highly recommended.
Just got mine OTA and its installing now
I just updated mine. No noticeable difference, unlike FRF50
Great update, minus the fact that my car dock no longer works, my screen timeout fails and swype constantly hangs. I love Android but I'm ready for Google to give us a refined product instead of all these beta-like releases
Just got it this morning
FRF91 got automatically installed on my Nexus One just a few hours ago: I live in Italy with an unlocked Nexus One on the TIM (Telecom Italia Mobile) Network.
Agree. Pandora appears to be lactose intolerant. Sound quality is brutal and I also notice that play does not resume after navigation audio. This requires that you hit play again after every turn! I can not handle that and had to switch back to xm / Sirius.
@courtjester Noticed the lackluster sound quality with Pandora as well. Also, you have to hit play after ending a call. Although, atleast it still pauses when you receive a call. If you mute the navigation it doesn't effect Pandora. The sound quality must be something with pandora, because Slacker still sounds good.
I manually updated my AT&T N1 to FRF85 whenever the download link was captured and today I received the FRF91 OTA. Didn't see it at first, I was downloading updates for a couple apps and it popped up that it wanted to reboot for an update. Resumed the updates on my apps after the update rebooted
just got my update(finally) today(7/4/10) on my N1 from frf72 to frf91 Happy 4th from Chi Town.
how about instead of releasing a thousand updates for the nexus one, they start releasing 2.2 updates to phones that dont have it?
i just got FRF91 and now my nexus one does not get any 3g. its so weird does anybody else see this happening to them? also i live in san francisco.
