@Papytendo Yeah... reminds me of something: "Oh boy... an iPhone, I should buy it!".
@loocas
WTF? Why did my reply end up a post above?! o_O
I watched it and laughed my ass off when Mom was the Jobs comparison.
I'm so glad Futarama is back.
@IAmAlive
omg is the third world planet supposed to be a take on India. lmao
@IAmAlive
eyePhone salesman:
"ok, it's $500, you have no choice of carrier, the battery can't hold a charge, and the reception isn't very..."
Fry:
"Shut up and take my money!"
LOL. priceless. So happy Futurama is back!
@IAmAlive lol at least they warned them about the problems instead of offering bumpers a week later (for a price) ;)
@OmbreDesigns Actually, I'm going to download it off of iTunes so I can watch it on my shiny new iPhone 4!
I am so happy this show is back. Let us be honest, family guy has become stale and we needed a shake up! I loved this skit too :D Family guy is back!!
@ColinMcGraw
Witness the depths of iPhone owner insanity...
"This is critical of iPhone users! ... ... (point flies toward head, bounces off and falls to the ground without penetrating the skull) ... ... Must go home and pay Apple money to watch it on my iPhone!"
Unless, of course, you were being sarcastic.
@ssguy I think more china IMO, but who cares!! Futurama RULES!!!
@ColinMcGraw if you had Android, you could watch it instantly through your browser... without downloading anything from iTunes...
@NeatOman No it's Africa. They have the biggest e-waste problem because the rest of the world sends its waste as development-aid down there.
@NeatOman
I guessed it was India coz of the music they play when arriving on the planet. Sounds like Indian instruments to me.
but your right who cares...Futurama is back.
@ColinMcGraw You are such a tool....

@Mike Vick
I...but this isn't....you...never mind.
@IAmAlive
Agree with that some jokes were funny. But... It felt very unnatural.
I like futurama, but this episode wasn't classic futurama. The topic simply was gadgets in 2010, with viral videos, iphones and twitter etc. This was more like a sucky modern Simpsons-episode.
I'd rather have they doing episodes that aren't big references to what's happening in our time right now. This goes for both simpsons and futurama. Leave this kind of thing to south park.
@Wokis I COMPLETELY agree with you, I was hoping this would be like the return of Family Guy, but as soon as I heard it wasn't going to be on network TV, specifically picked back up by Fox I had my doubts. Then the 4 movies came out (still pisses me off that 2 are DVD only and the 2 are DVD and Blu-ray, but whatever), and were classic Futurama (so I had my hopes renewed, even though this was still a Fox production, it wasn't the network it was Fox Home Movies, which is almost like a different company)....
... I just realized I've gotten totally off-track with a geekrant. I would like to see less of this from Futurama and the Simpsons and bring us more South Park episodes like when the internet was down because of the giant Linksys router... heh that was one of my hardest TV lol moments of that year.
@ravissimo
Brilliant, I love it.
Take that Steve Jobs, you blew it.
Sent from my Nexus One (Froyo 2.2 FRF91)
@ColinMcGraw
So cute, he's happy and bragging about being a sheep. "Who's Steve's little troll? Yes you are, yes you are."
@ssguy
How the hell is that funny?
@ColinMcGraw Im going to watch it from my plasma, i mean HTC EVO 4G. Or maybe ill plug it into my plasma via the HDMI output jack on my phone. Got something to say now?
@IAmAlive
Wha?!
@Wokis It looks like Steve went too far. Apple and it's iPhone have become so main stream and popular that its started to become popular to revolt against it.
@IAmAlive
LOL. The song on the second video reminded me of Marilyn Manson's "Personal Jesus".
*points finger at Steve Jobs*
HOW FITTING!
@ravissimo was really funny, except the iphone 4 is the best battery life of any smartphone from what i've seen. other than that really funny.
@NeatOman EXCEPT THAT THE ACCENT WAS CLEARLY INDIAN
@blacksilva
I just watched it on my computer.
@blacksilva You do know the iPhone 4's retina display is clearer than the evo 4g ( check it out on YouTube if you have to) and there's also mobile me ( but I bet you don't know what that is do you?)
@Worm in the Apple
yeah they're slowly slipping down the Lets Hate M$ path, and the bigger and more popular they get the faster they will get there. I think Android will be the next thing to get big, but hopefully by staying more "open" they can avoid the fall on the other side.
@Leegh229
Most differences in quality aren't visible on youtube, and since when has mobileme helped anyone but business?
@BigPhi84 FYI, Manson did a cover of Personal Jesus, as did Rammstein. It's a depeche mode song originally.
@ssguy no its china, the place where iphones are made. duh
@Ignoramus It was confusing. The material evidence--the Indian accent, the sitar music--points to the planet representing India. But the referential evidence would point to either China or Africa--the countries which make and dispose of our e-waste, respectively. Let's just call it Chindrica.
@phinn It also has the worst problem with making phone calls, pick your poison I guess.
Futurama rocks
@Measlesopolis
100% agree. I was so happy they came back on the air!
@Measlesopolis I was really happy to see this episode.
First, it's great to see them back.
Second, they come back with a bang.
Such a clever and witty show. It's very underrated.
@Kedar "It's very underrated"
Yeah, I can't figure out why nobody seems to like it.

@Measlesopolis
It's great to have Futurama back. I just hope I'm not the only one who is making an active effort to note who their sponsors are and support them.
Hell, I might even write letters to their sponsors telling them thanks.
So glad the show is back!!!
hopefully you can actually hold the eyephone
@audi2009 "I don't care!! here take my money!!!" .. lolz
@goseki No, it's "Shutup and take my money!" Wording is everything.
@audi2009
nope. it's inserted directly into your eyeHole.
@ColinMcGraw But the clerk should have replied, "Sorry, we don't take cash"
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/05/18/apple-store-rejects-cash_n_580357.html
Oh man Best Epi yet.
and I was beginning to wonder how Mom kept her fortune after dark matter became inert and the anchovy was un-extinct-ified....emulate the only company in history that can charge a 60% markup over their competition and have no one bat an...ahem...eye. Maybe she's actually a distant granddaughter of Steve
Also, for what it's worth (alot)......Good news everyone, the original seasons and all 4 movies are on netflix streaming now (he said at 1 in the morning already 2/3 through season 1)
@KeegdnaB Also, this makes the Droid X live wallpaper downright disturbing in context
@KeegdnaB OMG YES!!!! I was hoping it would start streaming!!!
That is very good news!
