Disco Chair is way cooler than its name would lead you to believe

This is the Disco Chair, the brainchild of Kiwi&Pom, and though we're not fans of things with the word 'disco' in their names, this one is outstanding and beautiful. It's made with 200 meters of electroluminescent wire, and the lighting can flash on and off (hence the disco moniker). Hit up the source for a few more shots.

Cooler still than the name "Disco Chair" would imply?

I say to you that this is hardly possible. Does it sit in the control room of a love train? Does it politely inform you that, yes sir, it can in fact boogie? Is it perchance a celebration? Will it ring my bell?

I hope that if I ever get to sit in one I will survive.

I wish these were available and not just a concept, please Kiwi&Pom, don't leave me this way!

That chair probably doesn't look as cool in real life. I've worked with EL wire and its nowhere that bright, they just took long exposure shots...
