Nintendo's Miyamoto says Miis could make the jump to the 3DS

Nintendo already dropped a hint that Miis could be heading to the 3DS by including some Mii-like characters in the Pilotwings demo at E3 last month, and Shigeru Miyamoto himself has now offered some further confirmation that Nintendo is at least looking at the possibility. Speaking with IGN this week, he says that it is "something that we're definitely giving consideration to," and that Nintendo wants to "continue to try to allow people to use their Miis on different Nintendo systems going forward." While that's not quite a complete confirmation, it definitely sounds like your Mii could be with you for a long time to come.
Well, I never use them anyway and they don't do anything...

Nintendo, last week: We want hardcore gamers to know we're taking them seriously with the 3DS. We asked third part devs what they wanted and incorporated those things into the 3DS.
Nintendo, now: Fuck everything, you're getting Miis! And you can use them to play tennis and ping pong and bowling!

3D > retina display. Besides running games at 960x480 would needlessly use up performance.

Nintento seem to prefer adult casual gamers and tweenie gamers rather then the mature psp 'god of war' hardcore gamers. So they will create platforms with novelty value. The edition of a analogue nub gives it hardcore possibilities but their strategy is pretty clear, so the inclusion of Mii follows there strategy.
I hope they make the bitten screen of the 3ds the same size as the top screen. It really bugs me as the dsi sports the same size screens which get a design thumbs up.
There were also Miis in the 3DS screens from Mario Kart.
Miis are fine, but what I really want is a virtual console for Gameboy and Gameboy Advance. I needs me some Metroid 2!

All I can say about the 3DS is Mii want.
I hope they add Mii's! I didn't like their design on the Wii, but I doubt they'll change the design. I also hope they have more you can do with Mii's, like use them as an avatar and other stuff.
