We not only didn't get to make the trip to Anaheim for ESPN's first 3D broadcast that was produced in house, but we also couldn't watch it in 3D
thanks to the fact that we don't subscribe to one of the three providers who's carrying ESPN 3D
. We're sure we weren't alone watching it in HD, but we did appreciate ESPN showing a few shots of the 3D cameras and enjoyed reading Wired's impressions which seemed pretty positive. We'll be keeping an eye out for 3D that is available on our provider, but it really goes to show that at this point in time, the lack of 3D content is a very big concern.
