Firefox Home for iPhone bows in the App Store
Alright, we know that playing with the Firefox 4 beta has been a full-time job for you Mozilla fanboys and girls out there, but let's try something fresh on for size, shall we? Firefox Home has finally been whisked into the App Store on news that Apple gave it the green light, meaning you can now sync your bookmarks and open tabs between your desktop and your phone. Some of us can go a few minutes without browsing the web in the off chance we're away from our PCs... aw, who are we kidding? No we can't -- and neither can you, so you may as well grab it if you're using Firefox and an iPhone.

Rated 17+ for drug references, nudity, violence, etc.
Really, Apple?
@ThreeDee912 Sigh, the hypocrisy of it all.
@ThreeDee912 Well... it does use the web...
@ThreeDee912
It's like this for all web browser and makes sense. Someone could potentially access all of that through the app. THINK ABOUT THE CHILDREN!!!!
@prewreckless So does the iPhone, but do they put +17 on the packaging?
@juanvaldez No, because iPhone comes with Parental Controls built-in while Firefox Sync as well as other browsers and apps rated 17+, don't.
@EA575 they display that for any app that uses the internet in any way shape or form. its so fucking STUPID.
No!!! I've been so happy with Chrome, but this might send me back to FF.
@brett maxwell aw, c'mon. Don't complain about options :P
Not in US or Canadian store.
Cant seem to find it.....
I hope the android version is released soon. *hides from flames*
@kizuna May take a little longer since we're getting the whole browser (Fennec) with weave, which syncs between Fennec and Firefox the same way Firefox Home does.
@kizuna this iphone user is cool with your android lovin!
It might take a while show up in search index, but you can get it via link provided (like I did).
I'm really liking it so far and I've been looking forward to this for a while. And for a 1.0 it's pretty impressive.
Also I noticed last night Xmarks now has an iPhone app.
Nice and fast on the iPhone 4
@HighestRanked2
Unfortunately this isn't actually Firefox just yet. It's just bookmark and tab syncing I think. Still useful, but not as amazing as it could be.
This will help me with my bookmarks, though honestly I'd rather see something like Xmarks show up. I already have that set up exactly how I want it and love it.
This app is probably a battery burner. Firefox and Fennec for winmo are RAM hogs. Firefox will die, hopefully soon.
@Lee1019
Please read the article. This isn't Firefox, it just syncs your bookmarks and tabs through Safari.
@Dafrety My Mistake, In that case I find this impressive. I Wish there were more applications that do this. I hate when I listen to music or a podcast on my computer while I sync my Zune. I wish my Zune knew what, song, podcast, playlist ect. and it was seamless when I move from one screen to another. I like to watch netflix on the go, then come home to my ps3 and pick up where I left off
For iPad please
This app, so far, is pretty much useless.
@skapandi agreed lol
@skapandi lol seriously.
People use fiefox ?

An uninformed troll is the worst kind of troll.
I've been using Atomic web browser for months as it $hits all over mobile Safari. There's proper tabs and 20% more screen real estate in fullscreen.
Does this app sync your bookmarks to safari? Or do you have to use the actual app to browser the web with your synced bookmarks?
XMarks for iPhone, please.
Can a developer hack into Safari's bookmarks and change them?
I suspect not as it could lead to some nasty abuses.
What is that awesome case?
So what are we all just going to start throwing the term fanboy in every comment of dieing devotion to something? Only fanboys I know are apple trolls! Lets not make this a universal bashing term yea?
@shanklin89 typical fanboy comment
@The Joker ha dood. your comment was entirely hypocritical. take a minute to process that. stop trying to turn any post about something iphone into a phone war...
