Nokia C6 already updated with 8 megapixel cam, dual flash?

For whatever reason, Nokia's Dutch outpost is showing off a C6 variant that's been up-spec'd to 8 megapixels with dual flash, a 3 megapixel bonus over the existing model -- a phone that still isn't widely available in all markets. This kind of has a whiff of something Nokia would do; they've done it in the past by gently massaging the N85 into the N86, for instance, but so soon?

Not a huge deal, but the N85 wasn't quietly turned into the N86 -- it was a completely different device with completely different specs (even though the N86 was called the N85 8GB for a short time).

it is so sad to see the negative feedback about nokia when it used to be nothing but compelling news.
i do buy low end nokia devices to give them as presents and keep them for myself because they just work.

2 years ago i was such a nokia fan that i would never consider buying a samsung. but, i am buying a captivate outright with no contract at 350.00 usd.

That lens looks strikingly similar to the one on the N86. I wonder if it's a wide angle. Kinda makes me think my theory on the fake 8MP in that E7/N8-01 is true. Of course, this C6 image looks like it was created on a computer so who knows.

The N85 and the N86 are in two different leagues. The first one is a cheap plastic copy of the N95, the other is a great phone with the best buttons ever put on a phone, a strong build quality and impressive video recording capabilities. Plus some interesting functionalities (active kickstand, digital compass, virtual optical zoom for video, digital microphone, fm transmitter).
