Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"We need a digital camera that can be switched on and fire off that first shot fast. It's not a commonly tracked statistic on any review site, and nobody seems to have this information for every camera. We were hoping other readers could inform us as to what small digital cameras can fire off their first pics in under a second (ideally under half a second). It needs to be small, but mostly, just really quick in operation. Thanks!"
Yuppies they are having a hard time when the n97 and others sold millions.
@DefPoet the 5800expreemusic sold an absolute. Shit ton of units
@DefPoet
I would know.
Sent from my 5800XM
@Death
Have one as well and it was the best value for money available in late 08, early 09.
@spartandre217 Me too. Cheap as chips, bit clunky to use, does stuff others can't. Great!
@e1212
It was between this and the Iphone 3G at the time.
I'll take my video recording, MMS, Dual LED flash any day.
The most recent firmware update doesn't make it AS clunky anymore and that's a plus.
Obviously not the best device available but it sure did the job.
@DefPoet
Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic FTW!!!
@Samunosuke I would be happy if nokia somehow manages to bring the MeeGo running equivalent of a 5800 out: (Cheap, with better than average hardware all round).
My 5800's camera, flash, audio quality, and reception are all better than my moto milestone.
