Visualized: Tesla owner talks smack using world's greatest vanity plate
Owning one of the world's most electrifying and exclusive four-wheelers not enough for you? In that case, you'll probably be wanting a bright orange paintjob and a vanity plate that rubs pretty much every other road user up the wrong way.

@Zer0fluX
You should have stuck with your "batteries are bad for the environment" bit, which is true, rather than ranting about CO2 not being a pollutant (what? As a GHG, it pollutes the atmosphere in a way that traps solar radiation), and comparing a couple dollops of axle grease put on once, in manufacturing, to the amount of oil your body-lifted pickup with KMC Rockstars consumes sitting at a stoplight.
I spotted a similar plate a couple months ago in Illinois....

is that jason Calicanius 's tesla????
That plate is awesome!
REDRUM
SWEEET! GOtta love it!
How about "WUT COAL?"
if you have the ignorance to bad mouth the tesla roadster or any other tesla products that are hand made to this day atleast know how it works and the fact that the concept for the motor in this vehical is based off of nikola tesla's invention of the electric motor that has no moving parts that ever need to be replaced.
LOL LIMITED RANGE --->LOL LMTD RNG
LOL LONG CHARGE ---> LOL LNG CHRG
LOL COAL ----> LOL COAL
LOL SLOW(ish) ---> LOL SLOW
LOL BANKRUPT ---> LOL BNKRPT
Now if only our license plates could fit all of that
@professorpi - Says the Oil Company Luddite as O-Tesla plugs into the solar or wind charging station smiling and recollecting all those Mustangs and even a Ferrari or 2 that folded when the red stop light turned green, Whoosh! Can’t wait for the replacement solar tilled roof and hood panel and the Star Wars “sound pack”. Hum, Tie-Fighter or X-Wing sound tomorrow?
@Frankenstein Black-- Still doesn't change the fact that it is overpriced, long charge times, and is bankrupt. Plus any Mustang (let alone Ferrari) can top the Tesla's top speed of 125 mph. Additionally, if you will recall from episode IV, X Wings used fuel and not even TIE fighters ran on electricity like this Tesla does.
@professorpi
Yes, because you really need to go faster than 125 mph pretty much all the time, yes ? Doesn't matter than a Tesla will own most of the sportscars out there when the light turns green... Slow to charge ? Bullshit. Get the proper charger. And most drivers will be topping off, not charging an empty battery pack every night. Lastly - bankrupt ? You might want to catch up a little... They just went public, got a sizeable cash infusion in the process, and now have a pretty lucrative new partnership with Toyota. Stop spreading nonsense, please.
@professorpi
stfu and gtfo
kthxbai
I would roast that Tesla any day
I saw a vanity plate with the words 'NOXOST' on a Tesla Roadster in VA.
Haha I love it!
Maybe it should read "COAL FTW"
@dec7td I guess we think alike...lol
BP STFU
Or
how about:
BP CEO RTFM
LOL COAL
Look at the gap between the bumper and quarter panel. Is that a freaking solar panel? Shit build quality. I'll take an Insight or Prius plz.
I'm thinking a more appropriate plate would be: COAL FTW
I saw this exact car as I was driving home from work last week (on the Golden Gate Bridge). I had watched the Top Gear review of it, in which they basically had two die on them in an afternoon. When I saw the Tesla on the bridge I remember thinking that I would probably, at some point in the future, wind up seeing a picture online of that car, plate "LOL OIL," out of juice by the side of the road. Maybe with some sort of large gas powered vehicle and a douche-bag nearby. I don't know. I'm just glad to see it's still going, I mean, how can't you find a battery operated (albeit pretty heavy) Louts interesting? It would be impossible. Even Toyota likes them.
