Looks nice. Maybe I should pick one up, since my current point and shoot is nowhere to be found... :( I'll probably pick up an iPhone 4 within the next year though, and from what I've heard the camera will be good enough to forget about a point and shoot (except no optical zoom, obviously.)
@maattp You must have *really* low expectations for a P&S camera if you think the iPhone could replace one. Tiny flash, low res, limited optics, limited low light, limited options, slow operation, amongst a slew of other shortcomings. Yes, a cameraphone will do in a pinch when you don't have any other option, but it won't ever be as good as a dedicated P&S (at least not in the foreseeable future). No amount of gee-whiz apps will change that.
@solmar Well 5MP really isn't bad at all. It's more than enough to print, and looks great on any screen. The thing is that I only really use a real camera about once a year for family vacations, so having a pretty good one in my pocket at all times sorta makes sense. I know that it won't be as good as even a $90 point and shoot, but not that bad either.
The N9 has arrived. What we can say from our first experience is that we're in the presence of a fantastically designed device with a gorgeous AMOLED screen and some highly responsive performance.
