New Xbox 360 250GB Limited Edition Halo: Reach bundle revealed

The Halo series is no stranger to special edition Xbox 360 hardware, so it should come as no surprise that the latest entry, Halo: Reach, is also privy to such treatment. What makes it special, however, is that it's the first special edition based on the new model -- 250GB HDD, built-in 802.11n WiFi, a silver (presumably matte, based on the picture) finish, and custom, Halo-inspired sounds. The $399 price tag also nets you two special edition wireless controllers and, naturally, a copy of the game itself. Look for this September 14th, and really, if you're not into glossy black (and we feel ya, brother), this might be in your best interest to pick up.

I want the new Xbox and I want this game, but I also want the special armor that comes with the special editions. I hear you get the Elite armor but not the flaming head, that fucking blows. Great value here.

Goodbye Arcade, helllooo new Xbox. Well, if I can find the spare money.

The only annoying aspect is that I have the Legendary Edition on pre-order, so I would have to sell the Reach game upon arrival (which would probably sell to near full price). I can sell my Arcade for approx. £130 to raise funds though.

@RyTheGuy that's because yet again MS is sneaky, cheap, and their system fails. Sure theyve got xbox live, halo, gears, etc. but the system you play it all on is a piece of junk

The thing about the new xbox 360 is that it's smaller and they've jammed more into it, no overheating problems, i think not. They removed the Red Ring of Death sure, but only by literally removing the red led's, sneaky...
