Handmade Daft Punk helmet produces some stunning photo ops
The man you see above you, Harrison Krix from Volpin Props, spent the last year and a half making the Daft Punk helmet he's wearing in the shot. Now, maybe that sounds like a crazy way to spend your spare time -- but then again, the photo opportunities seem to be killer for this guy these days. Hit the source links for many, many photos of its creation. Video below.

@glamajamma
I'm the one that hired Volpin to make this. It is large, but I have a large head and it's scaled to my size.
I mean I know you're not supposed to wear motorcycle helmets in gas stations, but this is just ridiculous
It's been a goal of mine to build my own Daft Punk helmet. More in Daft Punk style though, I don't think I'd want to have one exactly like theirs. I think it would be an awesome learning experience.
Beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Such a labor of love. Good job!

I want this guy's helmet. I want his prop-making skills. I even want his cool little dog.
I wonder if the real daft punk helmets have a built in cooling system. I would imagine that it would get a little warm in there during a concert or appearance.
Somebody get this thing D.O.T. approved, and on the market please!!
surely he is going to sell them....... Where do we get them?
I wants one!
